Kuidas lugeda kudumise skeeme?

Skeem koosneb ruutudest. 1 ruut = 1 silmus – tingmärk seletab, kuidas silmust kududa. Skeemil on näidatud kõik silmused vaadates töö paremalt poolt (kui ei ole teisiti mainitud).

Mustriskeem näeb välja nii:

A.1 on skeemi nimi ja käib terve skeemi kohta.
A.2 on ainult kantsulgudes osa skeemist.
See number märgib silmuste arvu skeemi esimesel real.
See on tingmärkide seletus: see kirjeldab kuidas iga silmust kududa või mis värvi (mitmevärvilise mustri puhul).

Kudumise skeeme loetakse erinevalt teksti lugemisest: skeeme loetakse paremalt vasakule ja alt üles. Teiste sõnadega, alustatakse alumisest paremast nurgast ja töötatakse vasakule ja üles (vaata punast skeemil allpool). Kui peab alustama teisest ruudust/teise silmusega, siis on seda juhendis mainitud: näiteks erinevad suurused algavad erineva koha pealt samal skeemil (vaata sinist ruutu).

Kui on vaja teha mitu mustrikordust real (st. tuleb kududa sama skeemi mitu korda laiuses), siis kootakse skeemi rea lõpuni ja alustatakse jälle skeemi rea algusest.

Edasi-tagasi kududes:

Edasi-tagasi kududes, kootakse üle rea töö paremal pool, iga teine rida kootakse töö pahemal pool. Kuna skeemil on näidatud kõik read vaadatuna töö paremalt poolt, tuleb tagasirida kududa vastupidiste silmustega töö pahemal pool kududes (vaata siniseid nooli skeemil): tagasirida loetakse vasakult paremale, parempidi silmused kootakse pahempidi ning pahempidi silmused kootakse parempidi jne (tavaliselt on seda mainitud tingmärgi seletuses: näiteks “parempidi silmus töö paremal pool, pahempidi silmus töö pahemal pool”).

Ringselt kududes:

Ringselt kududes kootakse kõik ringid töö paremal pool ja skeeme loetakse kõik read paremalt vasakule. Uut ringi alustades alustatakse skeemi teise rea esimesest silmusest.

Mitu erinevat skeemi real/ringil:

Kui samal real/ringil tuleb kududa mitu erinevat mustriskeemi, koo nii: koo 1. skeemi 1. rida, siis 2. skeemi 1. rida, siis 3. skeemi 1. rida jne. NB! Edasi-tagasi kududes tuleb skeemid kududa töö pahemal pool vastupidises järjekorras: st. alusta skeemiga 3, siis tee skeemi 2 ja siis skeemi 1. Samuti kootakse tagasireal silmused vastupidiselt nagu tavaliselt.

Juhendis kirjutatakse mustrikordusi nii: “koo skeemi A.1, A.2, skeemi A.3 kokku 1-1-2-3-4 korda”. See tähendab, et algul tuleb kududa skeemi A.1, siis skeemi A.2, siis korda skeemi A.3 kokku 1-1-2-3-4 korda (vastavalt eseme suurusele). AINULT skeemi A.3 korratakse mitu korda, skeeme A.1 ja A.2 kootakse kumbagi 1 korra.

Kui silmuste arv real/ringil ei sobi kokku skeemi silmuste arvuga:

Mõnikord rea/ringi silmuste arv ei jagu terve mustrikorduse silmuste arvuga. Näiteks: skeemil A.1 on 12 silmust ja seda tuleb korrata 40 silmusel. Kui teha 3 mustrikordust skeemi A.1 (= 36 silmust), siis saab kududa veel 4 esimest silmust skeemi mustrit (vaata punane joon). Nii saab tavaliselt teha kui muster on korduv, hoolimata poolikust skeemist, jookseb muster ikka ilusti kokku.

Je tricote la couverture Milk dreams , Je suis rendue au rang 13 de la charte A.1. Le nombre de mailles est maintenant de 12 au lieu de 14. Ça n’arrive plus avec les 203 mailles. Je ne comprends pas.

Bonjour Mme Marcotte, c'est tout à fait juste ainsi, au 13ème rang de A.1, on diminue 2 m dans chaque diagramme, puis à l'avant-dernier rang, on diminue de nouveau 2 m dans chaque diagramme. Quand A.1 est terminé, il reste 147 m (soit 13 fois 10 m + 1 m end + 3 m au point mousse de chaque côté). Bon tricot!

Liebe Frau Meyer, die Diagramme sind gezeichnet, wie das Muster bei der Vorderseite aussieht, dh wenn Sie glatt rechts stricken sollen lesen Sie dann: 1 Masche rechts (in Runden) bzw 1 Masche rechts in Hin-Reihen, 1 Masche links in Rück-Reihen (wenn Sie in Hin- und Rückreihen stricken). B31-17 (Serafina) - size 6-9 mo. Please explain chart A2a for me. There are an odd number of rows in this chart, which seems unusual, and the special sts occur on the wrong side (even) rows. Also, the decreases occur on wrong side rows, though the pattern says they should occur on right side rows. Am I misreading the chart? Thank you.

Hei Kristina. Om du ser på diagrammet, så ser du at hver gang du skal strikke 2 masker sammen (= 1 maske mindre), så skal du også gjøre et kast (= 1 maske økt), slik at maskeantallet i diagrammet hele tiden er likt. God Fornøyelse!

I am knitting Dreams of Arun DROPS / 135 / 3 size M. I am starting the pattern 1st row but it doesn't add up. I have 253 stitches. It states follow M3, M4, M3 M1 etc for a set number of stitches but when you add up the 12+52+24+52+12 this adds up to 152 stitches which isn't over half the stitches and not any where near the whole round. What have I done wrong?

If it is the right side, then the next row goes to patterns A.3 and A.4, is the first row of these patterns started on the wrong side? ie. Does the cable portion become a pearl rather than a knit? Dear Heather, you work first row in A.1, A.2 from RS, reading from the bottom corner on the right side towads the left, then read from WS from the left towards the right. Work first row in A.3 and A.4 from RS and work the diagrams the same way as explained above. The stitches with a - are stitches worked P from RS and K from WS - see 2nd symbol. Happy knitting!

Dear Mrs Papadopoulou, if you work this on one side only of piece, cast off first 2 stitches at the beginning of the row, then work row to the end, turn, work row back and cast off 2 stitches , work row to the end, turn work return row and cast off 1 stitch at the beg of next row. If you cast off on both sides, you will cast off 2 stitches at the beg of next 4 rows (= 2 sts 2 times on each side), then 1 st at the beg of next 2 rows. Bonjour Edith, si vous parlez du 1er rang de A.1 de ce modèle, vous *sautez 1 m, crochetez dans la m suivante: 1 bride, 1 ml, 1 bride, et sautez 1 m*, répétez de *-* tout le rang (entre 2 motifs de A.1, on aura 2 mailles sautées: celle de la fin de A.1 et celle du début du A.1 suivant). En effet ma dernière maille du rang 8 se retrouve à côté de la première maille du rang 9. Dois-je anticiper la démarcation et faire la dernière maille du rang 8 à la place de la dernière maille du rang 7 pour éviter le décalage dans le motif ? Merci d'avance pour votre réponse. Dear Mrs Syed, remember that diagram should be read from bottom up, ie row 2 in pattern-1 = A.1 = knit from WS. When you have K2 tog, YO all the row (= ex. A.3), just work K2 tog, YO over the stitches worked following that diagram. Dear Mrs Syed, when working A.1 on this pattern, the diagram includes the first 3 ridges (see the first 6 rows in diagram). You then work: 3 sts in garter st (= K every row), then repeat A.1 (= 8 sts) a total of 13 times over the next 104 sts, then work A.2 (= 1 stitch - so that pattern is symetrical on both sides) and finish with 3 sts in garter st. From WS work: 3 sts in garter st, A.2, repat A.1 reading diagram from the left towards the right, 3 sts in garter st. Happy knitting!
