Kuidas lugeda kudumise skeeme?

Skeem koosneb ruutudest. 1 ruut = 1 silmus – tingmärk seletab, kuidas silmust kududa. Skeemil on näidatud kõik silmused vaadates töö paremalt poolt (kui ei ole teisiti mainitud).

Mustriskeem näeb välja nii:

A.1 on skeemi nimi ja käib terve skeemi kohta.
A.2 on ainult kantsulgudes osa skeemist.
See number märgib silmuste arvu skeemi esimesel real.
See on tingmärkide seletus: see kirjeldab kuidas iga silmust kududa või mis värvi (mitmevärvilise mustri puhul).

Kudumise skeeme loetakse erinevalt teksti lugemisest: skeeme loetakse paremalt vasakule ja alt üles. Teiste sõnadega, alustatakse alumisest paremast nurgast ja töötatakse vasakule ja üles (vaata punast skeemil allpool). Kui peab alustama teisest ruudust/teise silmusega, siis on seda juhendis mainitud: näiteks erinevad suurused algavad erineva koha pealt samal skeemil (vaata sinist ruutu).

Kui on vaja teha mitu mustrikordust real (st. tuleb kududa sama skeemi mitu korda laiuses), siis kootakse skeemi rea lõpuni ja alustatakse jälle skeemi rea algusest.

Edasi-tagasi kududes:

Edasi-tagasi kududes, kootakse üle rea töö paremal pool, iga teine rida kootakse töö pahemal pool. Kuna skeemil on näidatud kõik read vaadatuna töö paremalt poolt, tuleb tagasirida kududa vastupidiste silmustega töö pahemal pool kududes (vaata siniseid nooli skeemil): tagasirida loetakse vasakult paremale, parempidi silmused kootakse pahempidi ning pahempidi silmused kootakse parempidi jne (tavaliselt on seda mainitud tingmärgi seletuses: näiteks “parempidi silmus töö paremal pool, pahempidi silmus töö pahemal pool”).

Ringselt kududes:

Ringselt kududes kootakse kõik ringid töö paremal pool ja skeeme loetakse kõik read paremalt vasakule. Uut ringi alustades alustatakse skeemi teise rea esimesest silmusest.

Mitu erinevat skeemi real/ringil:

Kui samal real/ringil tuleb kududa mitu erinevat mustriskeemi, koo nii: koo 1. skeemi 1. rida, siis 2. skeemi 1. rida, siis 3. skeemi 1. rida jne. NB! Edasi-tagasi kududes tuleb skeemid kududa töö pahemal pool vastupidises järjekorras: st. alusta skeemiga 3, siis tee skeemi 2 ja siis skeemi 1. Samuti kootakse tagasireal silmused vastupidiselt nagu tavaliselt.

Juhendis kirjutatakse mustrikordusi nii: “koo skeemi A.1, A.2, skeemi A.3 kokku 1-1-2-3-4 korda”. See tähendab, et algul tuleb kududa skeemi A.1, siis skeemi A.2, siis korda skeemi A.3 kokku 1-1-2-3-4 korda (vastavalt eseme suurusele). AINULT skeemi A.3 korratakse mitu korda, skeeme A.1 ja A.2 kootakse kumbagi 1 korra.

Kui silmuste arv real/ringil ei sobi kokku skeemi silmuste arvuga:

Mõnikord rea/ringi silmuste arv ei jagu terve mustrikorduse silmuste arvuga. Näiteks: skeemil A.1 on 12 silmust ja seda tuleb korrata 40 silmusel. Kui teha 3 mustrikordust skeemi A.1 (= 36 silmust), siis saab kududa veel 4 esimest silmust skeemi mustrit (vaata punane joon). Nii saab tavaliselt teha kui muster on korduv, hoolimata poolikust skeemist, jookseb muster ikka ilusti kokku.

Hola, buenas noches. Podrían explicarme el diagrama del patrón n° vs- ,059. Tras iniciar ranglan me pide que siga el diagrama A 1 en los siguientes 5 pts, al tener el diagrama una forma triangular y tejer de arriba abajo mi pregunta es si empiezo por la zona más estrecha y luego seguir con A 2a 14 pts? Y podríais indicarme como hacer el nudo del calado no me queda muy claro. Muchas Gracias

Hola Elena, los diagramas se leen de abajo arriba, aunque se trabaje la labor de arriba abajo. Así que la 1ª vuelta es la fila más baja del diagrama, que es la de 3-5-7 pts para A.1 y A.3. Así que trabajas, A.1 1 vez, A.2a 1 vez, A.2b 1 vez y A.3 1 vez. Después repites en el otro lado del cuerpo. Puedes ver cómo trabajar el nudo en este video

Hi! I'm knitting Autumn Wreath. This is my first time knitting in the round top down AND using a chart. Chart A.1 makes sense since I now know to read from bottom up, but I don't understand Chart A.2. Is the whole chart worked over 28 stitches so the areas with no squares are worked in stockinette stitch? Or are the 10 squares on the bottom worked next to each other with no gap where there are no squares?

Dear Mrs Creighton, A.2 is also read from the bottom up, you start with 10 sts working all sts at the bottom of the diagram,the empty spaces are there because stitches will be increased in between, and when all stitches have been increased, you just have all sts next to each other (without empty spaces in between anymore). Bonjour! C'est mon premier modèle avec Drops Desing Baby et je ne comprends pas. Je fais le modèle 31 -17. Dans les diagrammes, il y a des nombres. Je crois que ça correspond aux grandeurs mais comment choisir le bon. Par exemple, au-dessus de A.2a, il y a 92-98/104 ou 68/74-80/86 ou 48/52-56/62. Lequel choisir. Je veux faire la robe 12-18 mois. Merci!

Minulla on malli no-012. Olen neulonut viimeksi rivin, missä on ensimmäinen kavennus. Seuraavalla rivillä pitäisi saada kohdistettua ensimmäinen nurja silmukka ensimmäisen oikean silmukan kohdalle? En nyt jostain syystä hoksaa, mikä on väärin? Kavennuskerroksen silmukat ovat juuri niin kuin pitääkin olla, eli 26 silmukkaa? Nyt en vaan hoksaa, miten tästä eteenpäin? Dear Inbal, the chart does not necessarily represent all stitches in the round, but rather the main stitch-pattern. This stitch-pattern consists only of 4 stitches that are repeated as many times as needed in each row. For example, you have 24 sts but you work A.1 over 22 stitches. Since the first rows are just multicolor stripes, you only need to work all stitches in stocking stitch with one colour or the other. Afterwards, you will also work the yarn overs, spacing them as you repeat the chart over the remaining stitches in the row. Happy knitting!

Hi drops team, Ik brei de Celtic Harmony Cardigan, Drops 241-18 en kom niet uit het telpatroon. Ik brei heen en weer, dus dan snap ik de teruggaande naald in het tel-stroom niet. Gaat dit telpatroon er vanuit dat je in de rondte breit? Dan zou je wel altijd op de goede kant zitten.

Dear Ruth, after working chart A.1 over all 3 stitches and increasing to 5 stitches you will work a new pattern as follows: Work the first row of A.2 over the first 2 stitches, work the middle stitch in garter stitch and work the last 2 stitches as in the first row of A.3 (= 2 increases). On the next row you will work the next row of chart A.3 over A.3, garter stitch over garter stitch and the next row of A.2 over A.2. Work like this until you work the last row of A.3. Now continue with A.2 as before and A.3 over the last 2 stitches and the section in garter stitch will increase by 1 stitch each time you work A.3 from the bottom up. Happy knitting!

Dear Donna, the raglan stitches are the three rightmost in A.1 and 3 leftmost stitches in A.3. You always will have 1 edge stitch (cross square) and 2 stitches in stocking stitch (white squares) before (in A.1)/ after (in A.3) the yarn overs while you will start the pattern as in chart A.2 over the new stitches after the yarn over (A.1) / before the yarn over (A.3). So those 3 stitches, which are always the same as you can see in each row of the charts, are the raglan stitches, while all other new stitches are worked as in chart A.2 (knit/purl stitches). I am currently knitting the Dream in Blue Baby sweater - but I am not sure I understand the instruction for the passe correctly. I knitted the first round and did the increases as described in the following round. I started with 58 stitches, after 8 increases in this first round I have 66 stitches now. How should I continue? I don’t understand how I can maintain 8 increases per round when the number of stitches increases and I should include an increase after each A1. Could you elaborate?

Dear Lena, you should increase for the raglan on each side of each A.1 just as you did on first round (there will be just more stitches between each A.1), and increase like this on every other round = 1 round with 8 increases, 1 round without incraeses, repeat these 2 rounds a total of 13 times in 2nd size = 58 sts + (8x13) = 162 sts when all increases are done. Jeg strikker swing by spring cardigan str. 3/4 år. Har strikket efter diagram A1 og A2. Mit resultat ligner ikke det på billedet. A1 har kun 4 rækker i højden, A2 str(2-4) har 6 rækker i højden. Skal jeg fortsat strikke ret fra A1 diagram, når jeg strikker5 og 6 række fra diagram A2 ? Da jeg har strikket alle 6 rækker efter diagram A2 og begyndt med ret fra A1 diagrammet på alle rækker har jeg kun 139 masker.

Hei Susanne. Ja, fortsett med A.1 i høyden når du strikker 5. o g 6. rad i A.2. Plagget blir da likt i hver side (med 1 rett maske i hver side før/etter stolpen). Du skal ha 139 masker når du har strikket A.1 / A.2 1 gang i høyden. Il mio giro di lavorazione comincia da questo punto, va verso sinistra, fino alla fine del diagramma e nel giro successivo parte sempre dal quadratino 7, come se le colonne a destra non ci fossero? Hej, jeg er gået i gang med Cotswolds Sweater, men forstår ikke diagrammet. På første omgang med mønster strikkes først 1 gang A.1.A (3 masker), dernæst 10 gange A.1.B, så 1 gang (4 masker). Ved næste omgang med mønster (3.række i diagrammet) passer diagrammet ikke til samme metode, da 3.rækkes A, B og C flyder sammen, og er ikke længere henholdsvis 3 (A.1.A), 6 (A.1.B) og 4 (A.1.C) masker. Hvordan kan man så kun strikke A og C én gang og B 10 gange? Mvh Bella

Hei Bella. Når du strikker 3. rad og A og B første gang, strikkes det 1 maske fra A og 2 masker fra B sammen. Når du skal gjenta B strikker du siste maske i B sammen med de 2 første maskene av B. Når du skal strikke B siste gang strikker du siste maske av B sammen med de 2 første maskene av C. Bruk maksemarkører mellom hvert diagram, så har du en bedre oversikt. mvh DROPS Design

I am working my first Drops pattern and find I don’t understand some of the graphs. My project is Sparrow Song Drops 223-11. On the A2 graph I am at the point of the graph where there is an increase at the start of the row. Does this mean 1 increase and then knit the row? Or do I increase at the beginning and then increase again on the 6th stitch and so on for the row? Thank you for any help
