Jak uzavřít oka z rubové strany

Při uzavírání ok na konci práce pletené z rubové strany obrace, např. u průramků, průkrčníku či na náramenicích.
Je důležité, abychom neuzavírali ani příliš volně, ale ani příliš pevně.
Při uzavírání také můžeme použít silnější jehlice, abychom zajistili dostatečnou pružnost okraje.

Obr. 1: Upleteme 2 oka obrace.

Obr. 2: Na pravé jehlici máme 2 oka. Levou jehlicí vpíchneme do prvního oka na pravé jehlici.

Obr. 3: Oko nabereme a přetáhneme jej přes druhé oko (první oko na jehlici). Na pravé jehlici nám nyní zbývá pouze 1 oko.

Obr. 4: Upleteme další oko obrace.

Obr. 5: Na pravé jehlici máme opět 2 oka.

Obr. 6: Levou jehlicí vpíchneme do prvního oka na pravé jehlici.

Obr. 7: Oko nabereme a přetáhneme jej přes druhé oko. Pokračujeme tímto způsobem dokud neuzavřeme všechna potřebná oka. Takto můžeme uzavřít pouze část ok a zbytek řady doplést běžným způsobem nebo pokračovat až do konce a uzavřít všechna oka řady.

Obr. 8: Na pravé jehlici nám zbývá 1 oko.

Obr. 9: Přízi odstřihneme a protáhneme zbývajícím okem (= poslední oko řady). Nyní můžeme přízi zapošít.

Tuto techniku využijete při ukončování práce z rubové strany jako např. u pletení šálu.

Dear Martina, you start working from the wrong side, because the previous row where we cast off for the neck was from the right side. Then, we will cast off stitches at the beginning of the rows that start at the neck, not necessarily this first row; in one shoulder you cast off on right side rows; in the other shoulder you cast off on wrong side rows. On the first row where the beginning of the row is at the neck cast off 1 stitch (don't cast off tightly to avoid getting bumps). Work the rest of the row as before and work back as normal. On the 2nd row that starts from the neck, cast off 1 stitch. Repeat this one more time; you have cast off 1 stitch 3 times in total. . Happy knitting!

I am struggling to understand shoulder instructions as if I just work wrong side normally, then turn and on the right side cast off 1 stitch at the beginning of the row, by neck, I get ugly looking bump and no connection to the cast off for neck 1 row below. Can you clarify instructions for the shoulder? i tried different variations, even decreasing at the end of wrong side row but I still get bumps.

Bonjour Florence, vous pouvez tricoter avec des aiguilles droites mais il est recommandé de conserver les mêmes aiguilles qu'au début pour éviter toute différence de tension éventuelle - dans cette vidéo, nous montrons comment terminer une manche en allers et retours (pensez à bien suivre les indications du modèle que vous tricotez, et rabattez de chaque côté si indiqué).
