Hi! I have a pattern that calls for an alpaca type yarn that has a gauge of 18st x 28sts = 10 x10cm. What Drops yarn could I use to substitute even if I hold 2 strands together?

according to the gauge indicated you could use a Group C yarn or 2 threads of a Group A yarn (for example, 2 threads of Alpaca). Happy knitting!

Ja, det er kjedelig når ens favorittgarn utgår, men heldigvis har vi andre kvaliteter i ca samme tykkelse. Ta en titt på DROPS Alpaca, DROPS Baby Merino, DROPS Fabel, DROPS Flora og DROPS Nord. Kanskje en av disse kvalitetene kan bli ditt nye favorittgarn. mvh DROPS Design

Hei, kyseinen lanka poistuu valitettavasti valikoimastamme. Voit korvata langan esim. DROPS Baby Merino -langalla, joka on varsin pehmeä lanka ja sopii hyvin vauvojen neuleisiin.

I love your winter hat patterns and some are made of 2 strands Baby Alpaca silk yarn. I've never knit using 2 balls of yarn together so not sure how it goes ?

Dear Mrs Lombard, when you read a pattern worked with "2 strands BabyAlpaca Silk", it means that you work with 1 strand from 2 balls held together as just one. Happy knitting!
