In this DROPS video we show how to cast off on the neck edge, so that it gets a slightly better fit in the neck, as is done in the "Wild Mint Tea Jacket" in DROPS 227-6. We have only worked a small part of the jacket with a smaller number of stitches than what is written in the pattern and we work only a small part of the band before we cast off.
This jacket is worked in DROPS Alpaca and DROPS Kid-Silk but in the video, we use a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow. The seam in the middle at the back can look a bit thick, so at the end we show 2 parts that are sewn together with DROPS Alpaca and DROPS Kid-Silk.
