Dear Jean, if you mean pattern 233-24, the instructions you are mentioning do not match the written pattern in our webpage; it's possible that the pattern has been edited to adapt it to the magazine's pattern format. On the back piece, Row 3 it says '....(P1K3) to 1 stitch before marker, P1, K1, M1, slip marker, knit to end.' But if you have only one stitch before you have to M1 and slip the marker, how can you get a P1 and K1 in before that?

Dear Bev, as we work back and forth, we will have 1 edge stitch in garter stitch on each side of the piece, to make the edge neater for when we will sew the edges together. Over all other stitches of the vest we will work chart A.1, as well as repeat the 1st stitch of A.1 at the end so that the rib pattern is symmetrical. On the right side you work: *1 knit-twisted, 1 purl*, repeat from * to * the whole row and finish with 1 knit-twisted (to have 1 knit-twisted next to the edge stitch on each side). Then, on the purl side, you work: 1 purl-twisted over each knit-twisted from the previous row and knit over each purl stitch from the previous row. Happy knitting!

Bonjour Mme Guindon, vous allez tricoter les 18 mailles suivantes ou bien les 9 mailles suivantes comme indiqué dans les explications du modèle. Pour ce gilet, vous tricotez les 18 m suivantes comme indiqué dans A.1 (= 9 x les 2 m de A.1 et terminez par la 1ère m de A.1) et pour les 9 mailles suivantes comme indiqué dans A.3, répétez 4 x les 2 m de A.2 et terminez par la 1ère m de A.2). Hei Helle. Er dessverre ikke mulighet til å omskrive en allerede publisert oppskrift. Vi kan hjelpe deg så godt vi kan, men da er det fint om man opplyser hvilken str. man strikker. Når du strikker etter diagram, sett maskemarkører mellom hvert diagram, så har du en bedre oversikt. Når du skal øke er det viktig å lese ØKETIPS. I denne oppskriften skal det økes ved å hekle 2 fastmasker i samme maske jevnt fordelt. mvh DROPS Design

Dear Linda, you will increase for the raglan 1 stitch on each side of the stitch with a marker => 8 sts increased for raglan and you will also increase 1 stitch on each front piece for V-neck so that you will sometimes increase even 10 sts: 8 for raglan and 2 for V-neck. Happy knitting!

Bonjour Mme Desplats, dans cette vidéo, nous montrons comment tricoter les devants et le biais des épaules avec rangs raccourcis et comment monter les mailles de l'encolure dos pour terminer le dos, cela devrait pouvoir vous aider, notez de bien suivre le nombre de mailles indiqué pour votre taille (indépendamment de celui de la vidéo qui montre la technique). Dear David, you start with 84 stitches and then adjust after the rib to 78 stitches. Then you work A.1 13 times (check that you are using the right chart for your size), so you work A.1 (= 6 stitches in the first row, the lowest row in the chart) 13 times = 78 stitches. In each repeat of the chart you increase 10 stitches (see the yarn overs at the beginning/end of each chart row), but since you have 13 repeats you increase 130 stitches in total. 78+130 = 208 stitches after finishing A.1. The charts are read from right to left and from the bottom up. Happy knitting!

Dear Emma, when the cast off is indicated as "Nº of sts" X times, that means that you cast off that nº of sts for as many rows as times needed. In the first row that start from the neck edge cast off 2 sts. On the next row from the neck edge cast off 2 sts once more. On the next row from the neck edge cast off 1 stitch; work 2 more rows from the neck edge with 1 stitch cast off in each of them. For the shoulders, cast off 10 sts at the beginning of the row from the armhole. In the next row from the armhole cast off 10 sts again and continue the shoulders. Happy knitting!
