Como mudar de fios ou de quantidades de fios

Mudar

1 fio por outro:

Se os fios tiverem a mesma tensão na amostra, é fácil mudar de um para o outro.

Consulte a indicação dada para a amostra nas explicações do modelo – não se esquecendo de que o número de agulhas é indicado apenas como pura referência; mude para o número de agulhas que precisa. Para mais informações acerca do que é a tensão de uma amostra, ver aqui

Nota: ao mudar de fios, a quantidade de fio também pode ter de ser ajustada, porque a metragem de uma determinada qualidade num novelo (50 gramas = X metros) varia de um fio para o outro - ver o cálculo abaixo.

1 fio de um determinado grupo de fios:

Todos os nossos fios são fiados consoante uma determinada espessura standard e podem ser usados para um mesmo modelo se mudar de fios de um mesmo Grupo de Fios DROPS. Ver os nossos Grupos de Fios aqui.

Fios diferentes têm estruturas diferentes.

Nota: Ao mudar de fio, a quantidade necessária pode também ter de ser ajustada, porque a metragem de fio num novelo (50 gramas = X metros) varia de um fio para o outro - ver o cálculo abaixo.

1 fio por 2 ou mais fios:

Os fios DROPS são fiados de forma a que a sua espessura seja equivalente.
Ao trabalhar com mais de um fio de um determinado Grupo de Fios, pode encontrar facilmente modelos em outros Grupos de Fios (ver grupos de fios aqui) ou ver as nossas sugestões (ver as combinações de fios recomendadas aqui).

A quantidade de fio é ajustada ao mudar:

1 fio for 1 fio.

Ao mudar de fios, a quantidade de que irá precisar também pode ter de ser ajustada, porque a metragem de um fio num novelo (50 gramas = X metros) varia de um fio para o outro - ver o cálculo abaixo:

No modelo precisa de 300 g do Fio-X
Precisamos de saber a metragem para poder calcular quando irá precisar do Fio-Y:

Fio-X: 50 g = 170 metros
Total de fio necessário: 6 novelos x 170 metros = 1020 metros

Yarn-Y: 50 g = 150 metros

Número de metros do Fio-X = 1020 metros
dividido pelo número de metros do Fio-Y = 6.8 novelos

Resultado:
7 novelos = 350 g do Fio-Y
substituem
6 novelos = 300 g do Fio-X.

1 fio por 2 fios com a mesma metragem.

Eis um exemplo para lhe mostrar como calcular a quantidade de fio necessária ao mudar de 1 fio DROPS Snow (Grupo de Fios E) para 2 fios DROPS Air (Grupo de Fios C) - ver o cálculo abaixo:

O modelo indica 1150 g do fio DROPS Snow.
Precisamos da metragem do fio para podermos fazer o cálculo:

DROPS Snow: 50 g = 50 metros
Total de fio necessário: 23 novelos x 50 metros = 1150 metros

DROPS Air: 50 g = aprox. 150 metros

Número de metros do DROPS Snow = 1150 metros
dividido pelo número de metros do DROPS Air = 7.67 novelos

Vai trabalhar com 2 fios em vez de 1 fio e, por conseguinte, o número de novelos é x 2: 7.67 x 2 = 16 novelos

Result:
1150 g DROPS Snow
é substituído por
800 g DROPS Air

2 fios de diferente metragem para 1 fio.

Eis como calcular a quantidade de que precisa quando quer trabalhar com 1 fio num modelo que usa 2 fios
Exemplo: 1 fio DROPS BabyAlpaca Silk (do Grupo de Fios A) e 1 fio DROPS Kid-Silk (do Grupo de Fios A)
é alterado para:
1 fio DROPS AIR (do Grupo de Fios C)

O modelo indica:
300 g DROPS BabyAlpaca-Silk e 125 g DROPS Kid-Silk
(= 2 fios do Grupo de Fios A)

Convertamos isto para:
1 fio DROPS Air (Grupo de Fios C)
Precisamos de saber a metragem para poder fazer o cálculo:

DROPS BabyAlpaca-Silk: 50 g = 167 metros,
Total de fio necessário: 6 novelos x 167 metros = 1002 metros

DROPS Kid-Silk: 25 g = 200 metros
Total de fio necessário: 5 novelos x 200 metros = 1000 metros

Novo fio alternativo:
DROPS AIR: 50 g = 150 metros

Comece pelo fio com a menor metragem = 1000 metros
Divida pelo número de metros do fio DROPS Air:
1000 metros divididos por 150 metros = 6.7 novelos; assim, 7 novelos

Resultado:
300 g DROPS BabyAlpaca-Silk
125 g DROPS Kid-Silk
são substituídos por:
350 g DROPS Air

Dear Grace, we have no yarns that can be tumble dried. While some of our yarns can be machine washable. DROPS Melody has Alpaca wool, so it's quite delicate and we wouldn't recommend machine washing it (although you could try washing the gauge with the wool program of the machine, to check if it's adequate for the yarn). Its replacement, DROPS Brushed Alpaca Silk, isn't machine washable either. We have some superwash yarns, which are machine washable, but their composition is too different from DROPS Melody, so you can't use them for this pattern. Happy knitting!

Dear Elisabetta, although you usually can't exchange a group A yarn and a group B yarn, since DROPS Sky is thinner than most group B yarns, you could try working with DROPS Alpaca and a different needle size to check if you can get the desired gauge. Otherwise, you will need to recalculate the whole pattern. Happy knitting!

Dear Hester, you can exchange wool yarns with others in the same yarn group, without needing to modify or recalculate the pattern. However, you will need to calculate the amount of cotton yarn according to the instructions in this lesson (according to the new yarn and original yarn meterage). Also, take into account that sweaters made with cotton will not have the same texture as those made of wool, it will be feel tighter and less elastic . Happy knitting!

Bonjour Mme Cherpeau, vous pouvez entrer la quantité requise en Air dans le convertisseur, vous aurez ainsi la quantité correspondante en Nord et en Kid-Silk (entre autres), il vous suffira de diviser la quantité nécessaire pour chacune de ces laines par leur métrage pour avoir le nombre de pelotes requis dans chacune de ces 2 laines (qui sera automatiquement différent). Ta antall meter i Paris (1050 m) og dele det på løpelengden til Baby Merino (175 m), så får du det antallet nøster du trenger, 1050/175 = 6. Liebe Frau Störer, Baby Merino gehört der Garngruppe A, so mit 2 Fäden Baby Merino bekommen Sie die gleiche Maschenprobe mit mit 1 Faden der Garngruppe C so ca 17-16 M, je nach der gewünschten Textur können Sie auch mehr oder weniger Maschen haben. Viel Spaß beim Stricken!
