Mohu použít jinou přízi, než jaká je uvedena v návodu?

Ano, můžete, jen by měla mít obdobné parametry (návin, hustotu zkušebního vzorku), jako příze původní. Vždy si raději upleťte zkušební vzorek, abyste se ujistili, že máte stejný počet ok na šířku i počet řad na výšku, jako je uvedeno v návodu k danému modelu.

Pamatujte také na to, že odlišné příze s odlišnou strukturou vlákna dodají výslednému úpletu odlišný vzhled. I návin může být různý, proto před použitím náhradní příze vždy přepočítejte odhadovanou spotřebu na metry příze, abyste zjistili, kolik klubek budete pravděpodobně potřebovat.

Spotřebu náhradní příze snadno spočítáte podle následujícího příkladu:

Návod předepisuje 300 g příze X.
Příze X má návin 170 m na 50 g, což znamená 6 klubíček (příze X) x 170 m = potřebujete 1020 m příze.
Vy chcete použít přízi Y. Tato příze má návin 150 m na 50 g.
1020 m : 150 m = 6.8 = potřebujete 7 klubek příze Y, abyste mohli nahradit původní přízi X.

Můžete také zkusit přízi s jinými parametry, zejména jinou tloušťkou vlákna, tj. přízi z jiné Skupiny přízí - obecně platí tyto rovnice:

2 vlákna příze A = 1 vlákno příze C
3 vlákna příze A = 1 vlákno příze D
4 vlákna příze A = 1 vlákno příze E
8 vláken příze A = 1 vlákno příze F
2 vlákna příze B = 1 vlákno příze D
2 vlákna příze C = 1 vlákno příze E
4 vlákna příze C = 1 vlákno příze F
2 vlákna příze D = 1 vlákno příze F
2 vlákna příze E = 1 vlákno příze F

Zde je příklad, jak spočítat spotřebu příze Nepal (C), kterou chceme použít dvojitě coby náhradu za jednoduchou přízi Eskimo (E):

Návod uvádí spotřebu 1150 g příze o síle E.
Příze skupiny E má návin 50 m na 50 g, což znamená 23 klubek (příze E) x 50 m = potřebujeme tedy 1150 m příze o síle E.
Chceme použít přízi (Cx2). Tato příze má návin 75 m na 50 g.
1150 m / 75 m = 15,3 klubka x 2 = potřebujeme 31 klubek (příze C), abychom nahradili přízi E.

Teď se podívejte na dva různé příklady, jak spočítat spotřebu jednoduché příze ze skupiny C, jako třeba DROPS AIR NEBO DROPS BIG MERINO coby náhradu za přízi pro model tvořený původně dvojitou přízí ze skupiny A, např.: 1 vláknem příze Baby Alpaca Silk (BAS) a 1 vláknem příze Kid Silk (KS):

Návod uvádí spotřebu 300 g BAS + 125 g KS.
Příze BAS má návin 167 m na 50 g, což znamená 6 klubíček x 167 m = potřebujeme 1002 m příze BAS.
Příze KS má návin 200 m na 25 g, což znamená 5 klubíček x 200 m = potřebujeme 1000 m příze KS.
My chceme použít přízi DROPS AIR. Tato příze má návin 130 m na 50 g.
1000 m/130 m = 7,7 klubíčka = potřebujeme 8 klubíček příze (AIR), abychom nahradili 1 vlákno BAS + 1 vlákno KS.
A NEBO! Chceme použít DROPS BIG MERINO. Tahle příze má návin 75 m na 50 g.
1000 m/75 m = 13,3 klubíčka = potřebujeme 14 klubíček příze (BIG MERINO), abychom nahradili 1 vlákno BAS + 1 vlákno KS.

I'm also a bit confused between brushed alpaca silk and kid silk as the meterage to weight calculation is disparate but apparently works out to the same group if I use 2 strands of kid silk to 1 of brushed alpaca. Dear Mrs Davis, if you want to work with 1 yarn group D instead of 1 yarn group A + 1 yarn group C, calculate the total metarage of each yarn group A and yarn group C required for the size, then take the shortest meterage and divided it by the meterage of your yarn group D to get the number of balls required - And remember your tension should match both in width and height.. Hei Therese. Ja, du kan bytte 2 tråder Kid-Silk mot 2 tråder Baby Merino (begge tilhører garngruppe A). Men du må alltid sjekke at du får den strikkefastheten som er oppgitt i den oppskriften du skal strikke etter. Het hangt natuurlijk af van de maat en het patroon dat je gaat breien. Bij ieder patroon op onze site staan onder de materialenlijst een link naar de garenvervanger. Deze kun je gebruiken om uit te rekenen hoeveel garen je nodig hebt wanneer je een alternatief garen wilt gebruiken.

Bonjour Valérie, pour plus de simplicité, vous pouvez tricoter avec 2 fils du groupe A - et naturellement bien vérifier votre tension - ou bien recherchez un modèle qui correspond à votre tension, car nous ne sommes malheureusement pas en mesure de pouvoir adapter chacun de nos modèles à chaque demande ni à chaque tension. Hei Unni. DROPS Baby Merino tilhører garngruppen A og du kan bruke andre kvaliteter som tilhøre denne garngruppen, f.eks DROPS Alpaca, DROPS Flora, DROPS Nord eller DROPS Fabel. Ønsker du å strikke i et bomullsgarn, ta en titt på DROPS Safran, DROPS Loves You 7 eller DROPS Loves You 9. Nee, daar is helaas geen vaste formule voor. Wat je wel kunt doen is een aantal kindertruien vergelijken met dezelfde soort damestruien, zodat je een beetje een idee krijgt hoeveel meer wol ervoor nodig is, zodat je voor jezelf ongeveer een berekening kunt maken.

Als je 2 garens wilt combineren heb je 2 keer de totale looplengte nodig. Nu heb je een totale looplengte van 3150 en als je 2 verschillende garens wilt gebruiken moet je ervoor zorgen dat je voor elk garen een totale looplengte hebt van 3150 m.

Dear Maire, ICE was a group E yarn, so you could substitute it with 2 group C yarns. For example, you could use 2 threads of Big Merino or 1 of Big Merino and 1 of Brushed Alpaca Silk. For lighter weather (like summer) you could use 2 threads of Paris. Happy knitting!

Dear Nuala, Cotton Merino is a dk/worsted yarn and belongs to yarn group B - as long as you get the same tension (adjust needle size if needed) you can use this yarn. Make sure to check your tension first - and calculate the new amount of yarn. Happy knitting!

Dear Mrs Bogdana, you would have then to work with 2 strands Baby Merino (to get a thickness yarn group C) + 1 strand Brushed Alpaca Silk (yarn group C) - if you use only 1 strand Baby Merino, your tension will be completely different, you might have to recalculate the whole pattern - or get helped with vest patterns worked with a yarn group D/or your tension.
