Clue #10 - 2nd edge = 4 crocheted rounds around our flowers

We have reached clue #10 in our DROPS Mystery Blanket CAL and we are making progress with our edges!

This 2nd edge clue consists of 4 rounds with different colours and techniques, to start building a beautiful edge to match all our lovely flower squares!

2nd edge - trebles:

ROUND 1: Switch to light turquoise (no. 19) - READ COLOUR CHANGE and work 3 ch (= 1st tr).

COLOUR CHANGE:

When changing colour work as follows: Before last pull through of last loop on hook, switch colour, pull the last loop on hook through with the new colour.

Work 1 tr in every dc, 1 tr around every ch and 1 tr around ch-spaces in the side the entire round, BUT work 2 tr in one ch-space on every short side (= inc 1 tr on every short side).

Work as follows in the ch-space in the corners: 2 tr, 3 ch, 2 tr.

Complete description of ROUND 1:

I absolutely LOVE Drops patterns! They\'re all so gorgeous. Why aren\'t they available as PDFs? It\'s wonderful that they\'re available for free on the site, but it would sure be nice if they could be downloaded as PDFs. :-)

31.05.2016 - 21:39

DROPS Design answered:

Dear Mrs Whinery, to download the pattern you have to print it as .PDF - so if you can print as .PDF from your phone or computer, a file will be created, instead of a print, that you can store. Happy crocheting!

On last round of no9 we should have 268 dc and 286 ch sp =554 in no 10 we have to tr in each ch sp and dc plus Inc 2 on short side plus 4 in each corner I make this 572 not 516. What have I misread

31.05.2016 - 21:16

DROPS Design answered:

Dear Mrs Wolfe, in each 3-ch-space above hdc you will crochet only 1 dc along both long sides and along both short sides you will inc 1 dc (= 2 dc along both short sides instead of 1) and in the 3-ch-spaces in each of the 4 corners, you crochet 2 dc, 3ch, 2 dc. You should then have a total of 516 tr. Happy crocheting!

Jeg har for mange stgm efter 2 kant 530. Hvor meget betyder det. Vil det komme til at passe . Tak for skøn cal. På forhånd tak

31.05.2016 - 18:41

DROPS Design answered:

Grazie!
