Gauge: 23 sts x 36 rows on larger needles in Pattern 1 = 10 x 10 cm [4" x 4"].

NOTE: When you bind off over the cable of Pattern 2 you will reduce the center 8 sts of Pattern 2 (cable) from 8 sts to 4 sts (make decreases by K 2 tog), then bind off on the next row according to the pattern.

Body: Numbers in ( ) = men’s sizes. Cast on 240-252 (252-260-276-280) sts on smaller circular needles; join and place a marker at the join. Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Pick up approx. 96-100 sts around the neck on smaller double pointed needles; join and knit 2 cm [0.75"] rib, purl 1 row, 2 cm [0.75"] stockinette st, bind off. Sew on the sleeves.
