CROCHET INFO:
After last sc on the round, continue to next round with 1 sc in next sc (= 1st sc from previous round). NOTE: Insert a marker at the beg of round between last sc and first sc on the round, move the marker upwards when working.

HAT:
The hat is worked top down. Ch 4 on hook size 3 mm / C with 2 strands Bomull-Lin or 2 strands Paris and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. REMEMBER THE CROCHET GAUGE!
ROUND 1: ch 1, 5 sc in ch-ring – READ CROCHET INFO!
ROUND 2: work 2 sc in every sc = 10 sc.
ROUND 3: * 2 sc in first sc, 1 sc in next sc *, repeat from *-* = 15 sc.
ROUND 4: * 2 sc in first sc, 1 sc in next sc, 1 sc in next st *, repeat from *-* = 20 sc.
Insert 1 marker at the beg of round. Then inc 5 sc on every round, inc the same place as on previous round, i.e. 1 sc more between every inc on every round.
The circle will become a pentagon.
Continue like this until 16-17 rounds in total have been worked = 80-85 sc on round. Then work in the round with 1 sc in every sc until piece measures 15-16 cm / 6"-6 1/4'' from the middle. Continue to crochet the brim as follows:
ROUND 1: Work 1 sc in every sc while at the same time inc 8 sc evenly = 88-93 sts.
ROUND 2: Work 1 sc in every sc.
ROUND 3-19: Continue as 1st and 2nd round by inc 8 sc on uneven rounds and working sc in every sc on even rounds.
ROUND 20: Work 1 sc in every sc, finish with 1 sl st in first sc = 160-165 sc.
Fasten off.
TIE:
Ch with Safran color no 26 on hook size 3 mm / C until tie measures approx. 180 cm / 71'', fasten off.
SMALL FLOWER:
Work as follows: 4 ch with Safran color no 11 on hook size 3 mm / C and form 1 ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: ch 1, 5 sc in ch-ring, 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round.
ROUND 2 (switch to color no 23): In every sc work: * ch 3, 2 dc, ch 1, 1 sc *, repeat from *-* the entire round and finish with 1 sl st in 1st ch from beg of round (= 5 leaves). Fasten off.
LARGE FLOWER:
Work as follows: ch 4 with Safran color no 21 on hook size 3 mm / C and form 1 ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: ch 1, 5 sc in ch-ring, 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round.
ROUND 2 (switch to color no 18): In every sc work: * ch 4, 3 tr, ch 1, 1 sc *, repeat from *-* the entire round and finish with 1 sl st in 1st ch from beg of round (= 5 leaves). Fasten off.
LEAF:
Work the leaf with sts on both sides of a ch-row. Work 2 leaves with color no 26 and work 1 leaf with color no 14. Work as follows: ch8 , turn and skip first ch, continue with 2 sc, 3 dc, 2 sc. Ch 1 at the end of row, continue on the other side of row with 2 sc, 3 dc, 2 sc, finish with 1 sl st in 1st sc. Fasten off.
BRANCHES:
Work 1 branch with color no 26 and work 2 branches with color no 14. Work as follows: ch 8, 1 sc in tie where you want to place the branch, ch 8, cut the yarn and tie 1 knot at the bottom in beg and end of ch-row. Crochet 2 more branches.
ASSEMBLY:
Fasten the flowers and leaves on the tie. Place the tie 2 times around the hat before tying a bow.
