Gauge: 21 sts x 28 rows with Cotton Frisé in stockinette st = 10 x 10 cm [4" x 4"].

Garter st, when knitting flat: Knit all sts, all rows.

Front: Cast on 91-97-103-110 sts with Muskat. Knit 4 rows garter st, then change to Cotton Frisé and stockinette st. When the piece measures 7 cm [2.75"] inc 1 st at each side a total of 3-4-5-6 times, every 6-4.5-4-3.5 cm [2 3/8" - 1.75" - 1.5" - 1 3/8"] = 97-105-113-122 sts. When the piece measures 29-30-32-33 cm [11 3/8" - 11.75" - 12 5/8" - 13"] bind off for armhole at each side every other row: 3 sts 1-1-2-2 times, 2 sts 1-2-3-4 times, 1 st 4-5-4-5 times = 79-81-81-84 sts. When the piece measures 38-40-41-42 cm [14 7/8" - 15.75" - 16 1/8" - 16.5"] bind off the center 15-15-15-16 sts for the neck. Bind off at each neck edge every other row: 2 sts 2-2-2-2 times, 1 st 7-8-8-9 times = 21-21-21-21 sts remain on each shoulder. Bind off the remaining sts when the piece measures 48-50-52-54 cm [18 7/8" - 19.75" - 20.5" - 21.25"].

Back: Cast on and knit the same as the front. Bind off for armhole as on front and knit until the piece measures 46-48-50-52 cm [18 1/8" - 18-7/8" - 19.75" - 20.5"]. Now bind off the center 35-37-37-40 sts for the neck. On the next row dec 1 st at each neck edge = 21-21-21-21 sts remain on each shoulder. Bind off the remaining sts when the piece measures 48-50-52-54 cm [18 7/8" - 19.75" - 20.5" - 21.25"].

Sleeve: Cast on 49-51-53-55 sts with Muskat. Change to Cotton Frisé and stockinette st. When the piece measures 6-6-6-4 cm [2 3/8" - 2 3/8" - 2 3/8" - 1.5"] inc 1 st at each side every 3.5-3-3-3 cm [1 3/8" - 1.25" - 1.25" - 1.25"] a total of 12-14-13-14 times = 73-79-79-83 sts. When sleeve measures 49-48-47-46 cm [19.25" - 18 7/8" - 18.5" - 18 1/8"] bind off for sleeve cap at each side every other row: 3 sts 1-1-1-1 time, 2 sts 5-5-4-4 times, 1 st 1-1-5-8 times, then bind off 2 sts at each side until the piece measures 57-57-58-58 cm [22.5" - 22.5" - 22 7/8" - 22 7/8"]. Bind off the remaining sts.

Assembly: Sew right shoulder. Pick up approx. 95 to 105 sts around the neck with Muskat. P 1 row (right side row), bind off. Sew left shoulder and neckband. Sew in sleeves. Sew sleeve and side seams using edge sts as a seam allowance.

Crocheted ruffle edge: Crochet around the neck and around the bottom of the sleeve with Muskat as follows: Crochet 2 rows of sc around entire edge - it is better to crochet fewer sc on the first row to tighten up the edge, otherwise it will stretch out when the last row is crocheted. Next row: * 6 sc in first sc, ch 1, 2 sc in the next sc *, repeat from * - *.
Join and fasten off.
