GARTER ST (back and forth):
K all rows.

MARKER: Inc 1 st on each side of marker as follows: Work until 1 st remains before marker, make 1 YO, work 2 sts, make 1 YO. On next row K YOs twisted, i.e. work in the back loop of st instead of front to avoid holes.
LAPELS: Inc 1 st in each side of piece for lapel as follows: Work 2 sts in the first and last st on row.

Worked back and forth on circular needle.
Cast on 80-88-96-108-120-132 sts on circular needle size 7 mm / US 10.75 with Puddel.
On 1st row (= RS) insert a marker in each side of piece as follows: K 20-22-24-27-30-33 (= right front piece), 1 marker, K 40-44-48-54-60-66 (= back piece), 1 marker, K 20-22-24-27-30-33 (= left front piece). Move the markers upwards when working. Continue in garter st - see explanation above. REMEMBER THE GAUGE!
When piece measures 6-7-7-8-8-9 cm / 2½’’-2Ύ’’-2Ύ’’-3’’-3’’-3½’’, dec 1 st (= K 2 tog) on next row from RS on each side of both markers (= 4 sts dec). Repeat dec one more time when piece measures 12-13-14-15-16-17 cm / 4Ύ’’-5 1/8’’-5½’’-6’’-6Ό’’-6Ύ’’ - AT THE SAME TIME inc 1 st in each side of piece for lapels (= 2 new sts in the sides on right and left front piece) - READ INCREASE TIP FOR LAPELS. = 74-82-90-102-114-126 sts. READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING SECTION BEFORE CONTINUING!
Repeat inc for lapels in each side of piece every 3-3-3-3-2½-2½ cm / 1”-1”-1”-1”-7/8”-7/8”, 6-6-7-7-8-8 more times - AT THE SAME TIME when piece measures 18-19-20-21-22-23 cm / 7’’-7½’’-8’’-8Ό’’-8 Ύ’’-9’’, inc 1 st on each side of every marker on next row from RS – READ INCREASE TIP! (= 4 new sts). Repeat inc on each side of both markers one more time when piece measures 27-28-29-30-31-32 cm / 10½”-11”-11½”-11Ύ”-12Ό”-12½”.
When all inc are done, there are 94-102-112-124-138-150 sts on needle (front piece = 27-29-32-35-39-42 sts, back piece = 40-44-48-54-60-66 sts).
Continue to work until piece measures 37-38-39-40-41-42 cm / 14½’’-15’’-15Ό’’-15Ύ’’-16 1/8’’-16½’’. On next row from RS, bind off for armholes as follows (do not bind off in the smallest size): bind off 0-2-2-2-2-2 sts on each side of both markers (= 0-4-4-4-4-4 bind off sts in each side). Finish each part separately.

= 40-40-44-50-56-62 sts. Continue to bind off and dec for armholes at beg of every row in each side as follows: 2 sts 0-0-1-2-3-5 times, 1 st 2-2-1-2-2-1 time = 36-36-38-38-40-40 sts.
When piece measures 54-56-58-60-62-64 cm / 21Ό’’-22’’-22Ύ’’-23 5/8’’-24 3/8’’-25Ό’’, on next row bind off the middle 12-12-14-14-16-16 sts for neck and finish each shoulder separately.
Continue to bind off 1 st on next row from neck = 11-11-11-11-11-11 sts remain on the shoulder.
Bind off when piece measures 56-58-60-62-64-66 cm / 22’’-22Ύ’’-23½’’-24½’’-25Ό’’-26’’.

= 27-27-30-33-37-40 sts. READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING SECTION BEFORE CONTINUING! bind off for armhole in the side as on back piece - AT THE SAME TIME bind off on every row from neck as follows: bind off 2 sts a total of 3-2-4-3-5-4 times, then 1 st a total of 8-10-8-10-8-10 times.
After all bind offs are done, 11-11-11-11-11-11 sts remain on shoulder.
Bind off when piece measures 56-58-60-62-64-66 cm / 22’’-22Ύ’’-23½’’-24½’’-25Ό’’-26’’.

Work as right front piece but reversed.

Sew the shoulder seams. Sew 3 buttons evenly spaced on left front band, button between stitches on right front band.

Cast on 27-29-29-31-31-33 sts on circular needle size 7 mm / US 10.75 with Puddel.
Work back and forth in garter st until piece measures 8 cm / 3’’. Continue in stockinette st - AT THE SAME TIME inc 1 st in each side, repeat inc every 10-10-5-4½-3½-3 cm / 4”-4”-2”-1Ύ”-1Ό”-½”, 2-2-4-4-5-6 more times = 33-35-39-41-43-47 sts.
Continue to work until piece measures 34-33-33-31-30-29 cm / 13½”-13”-13”-12Ό”-11Ύ”-11½” (NOTE! Shorter measurements in the larger sizes because of longer sleeve cap and wider shoulders). Now bind off for sleeve cap as follows: bind off 2 sts at beg of each of the next 2 rows. Then bind off 1 st at beg of every row in each side until piece measures approx. 41-41-42-42-42-43 cm / 16”-16”-16½”-16½”-16½”-17”. Bind off 2 sts at beg of the next 2 rows one more time. Now piece measures approx. 42-42-43-43-43-44 cm / 16½”-16½”-17”-17”-17”-17Ό”.
Bind off the remaining sts. Sew sleeves in body with WS outwards. Sew sleeve seams.

Worked back and forth on needle. Start at tip on right lapel, pick up approx. 80-100 sts with Puddel on circular needle size 7 mm / US 10.75 around the neck edge and down to tip on left lapel. Work in garter st back and forth for 10-10-10-11-11-11 cm / 4”-4”-4”-4½”-4½”-4½”, loosely bind off all sts.
