100-100 g color no 36, amethyst

DROPS STRAIGHT NEEDLES OR CIRCULAR NEEDLE (60 cm / 24'') SIZE 8 mm / US 11 - or size needed to get 11 sts x 15 rows in stockinette st = 10 x 10 cm / 4'' x 4''.

SEED ST:
Row 1: * K 1, P 1 *, repeat from *-*.
Row 2: K over P and P over K. Repeat 2nd row.

NECK WARMER:
Cast on 23-26 sts on needle size 8 mm / US 11 with Eskimo and work back and forth.
Row 1: With the yarn on the back side of piece slip 1st st as if to P and work SEED ST – see explanation above, the entire row.
Continue in seed st and to slip 1st st.
When piece measures 52-55 cm / 20½”-21½”, loosely bind off with K over P and P over K.
Place neck warmer double with bind-off and cast-on edge towards each other. Displace the edge so that half of the cast-on edge is towards first half of bind-off edge, i.e. displaced approx. half the width of edges.
Sew tog with neat, little stitches in front loop of outermost st. Fasten off.
