Row 1: * K 1, P 1 *, repeat from *-*.
Row 2: K over P and P over K. Repeat 2nd row upwards.
Inc 1 st in 1st st at beg of row by working 2 sts in the same st as follows:
If 2nd st is K, K 1 in front loop of 1st st and P 1 in back loop of same st.
If 2nd st is P, P 1 in front loop of 1st st and K 1 in back loop of same st.
Dec 1 st at the beg of row by working the first 2 sts tog as follows:
If the 3rd st is P, K the first 2 sts tog.
If the 3rd st is K, P the first 2 sts tog.
Worked from the toe and up to heel. Cast on 19-21-23 sts on needle size 4 mm / US 6 with 1 strand of each color. On 1st row work in SEED ST - read explanation above. On next row continue with seed st - AT THE SAME TIME at beg of row inc 1 st - READ INCREASE TIP! Repeat inc at beg of every row a total of 40-44-48 times = 59-65-71 sts on needle. Piece measures approx. 13-14-16 cm / 5"-5½"-6 1/4".
On next row, work as follows: Work the first 29-32-35 sts on row in seed st (without inc), slip these sts on a stitch holder, bind off next st (= middle st), work the other sts in seed st = 29-32-35 sts on needle.
= 29-32-35 sts. Continue with seed st over these sts - AT THE SAME TIME dec 1 st in each side of the left part - READ DECREASE TIP, repeat dec at beg of every row a total of 25-28-31 times = 4 sts remain.
Then dec as follows: K 2 tog 2 times = 2 sts remain, turn. K these 2 tog = 1 st remains, cut and pull the thread through the last st. Piece measures approx. 21-23-26 cm / 8 1/4"-9"-10 1/4" in total.
Slip sts from stitch holder back on needle and work the same way as on left part.
Fold the slipper double on the middle (along the dotted line - see chart), sew tog in front loop of outermost st from point a to point b (mid under foot), continue to point c (mid back of slipper) - but stop approx. 2½ cm / 7/8" before point c, fasten off.
Work 1 round with 2 strands off white on hook size 4 mm / G/6 around the opening for foot as follows: Beg mid back and ch 1, * 1 sc, skip approx. 1 cm / 3/8'', ch 3 *, repeat from *-* along the entire upper edge, finish with 1 sl st in 1st sc from beg of round, fasten off. Fold the upper edge down - see chart - and fasten the fold with a small stitch in point c.
With 2 strands off white ch 4 and form a ring with 1 sl st in 1st ch.
ROUND 1: ch 1, 10 sc in ch-ring, finish with 1 sl st in 1st sc.
ROUND 2: Work * ch 4, 1 dc in 1st ch made, skip 1 sc, work 1 sl st in next sc *, repeat from *-* 4 more times (5 times in total) - but when repeating last time work 1 sl st in 1st ch from beg of round = 5 leaves. Fasten off. Sew the flower at the top mid front on slipper.
