Garter st, back and forth on needle: K all rows.
Row 1: * K1, P1 *, repeat from *-*.
Row 2: P over K and K over P.
Repeat row 2.
Cast on 34 sts on needle size 4 mm [US 6] with Symphony. Work 2 rows garter st – see above - (row 1 = WS).
P 1 row from WS and continue in moss st – see above. When piece measures approx 19 cm [7½”] P 1 row from WS and then bind off loosely from RS. Sew wrist warmer tog in outer loops of sts to avoid a chunky seam. Make 1 more.
Crochet border: Crochet a border round bottom edge (i.e. crochet in the 2 rows garter st from beg of piece) with crochet hook size 3 mm [C] with Kid Silk as follows:
Round 1: 1 sc in garter st row (round both rows), * 2 ch, skip 1 st, 1 sc in next st *, repeat from *-* and finish with 2 ch and 1 sl st in sc from beg of round.
Round 2: 3 ch, 2 dc in the first sc, and now work 3 dc in each ch-loop and 3 dc in each sc across the round, finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round.
