Knitting tension: 14 sts x 19 rows on needle size 7 mm in stocking stitch = 10 x 10 cm

Rib: *K2, P3*, repeat from *-*

Increasing tips: Increase within all sts in Rib by knitting 2 sts in the second stocking st – knit all inc sts in stocking sts.

----------------------------------------------------

Back piece:
Cast on 52-62-72-82 sts (inclusive of 1 edge st each side, edge sts are knitted in garter st throughout) on needle size 7 with Symphony. Knit 3 cm Rib as follows (1st row = right side): 1 edge st, K1, *P3, K2*, repeat from *-* and finish with P3, K1 and 1 edge st.
Continue as follows: 1 edge st, 14-19-24-24 sts in Rib, 22-22-22-32 sts in stocking st, 14-19-24-24 in Rib, 1 edge st.
When piece measures 14 inc 1 st each side – see Increasing tips - on every 7-8-8-9 cm a total of 3 times = 58-68-78-88 sts.
When piece measures 37-38-39-40 cm cast off for armhole each side on every other row as follows: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 0-2-4-4 times and 1 st 1-2-3-3 times = 50-50-50-60 sts. Continue in stocking st with 10 sts in Rib and 1 edge st each side. When piece measures 54-56-58-60 cm cast off the middle 18 sts for neck. Dec 1 st at neckline on next row = 15-15-15-20 sts left on each shoulder.
Cast off when piece measures 56-58-60-62 cm.

Right Front:
Cast on 28-33-38-43 sts (inclusive of 1 seam st at side and 1 edge st towards mid front) on needle size 7 with Symphony.
Knit 3 cm Rib as follows from mid front (1st row = right side): 1 edge st, *K2, P3*, repeat from *-* and finish at side with K1 and 1 seam st. Continue in stocking st and the 14-19-24-24 sts at side in Rib + 1 seam st.
When piece measures 14 cm inc within the Rib sts as described for back piece = 31-36-42-46 sts.
When piece measures 37-38-39-40 cm dec for armhole as described for back piece = 27-27-27-32 sts.
When piece measures 44-46-47-49 cm cast off the middle 5 sts for neck, and dec for neckline on every other row as follows: 2 sts 1 time, 1 st 5 times = 15-15-15-20 sts left on shoulder. Cast off when piece measures 56-58-60-62 cm.

Left front piece:
As right front piece, but mirrored, i.e. the Rib starts at side as follows: 1 seam st, K1, *P3, K2*, repeat from *-* and finish with P3, K1 and 1 edge st.

Sleeve:
Cast on 37-37-37-42 sts (inclusive of 1 seam st each side) on needle size 7. Knit 4 cm Rib as follows (1st row = right side): 1 seam st, K1, *P3, K2*, repeat from *-* and finish with P3, K1 and 1 seam st.
Continue as follows: 1 seam st, 9 sts in Rib, 17-17-17-22 sts in stocking st, 9 sts in Rib and 1 seam st. When sleeve measures 12 cm inc 1 st each side – see Increasing tips - on every 6.5-4.5-4-4 cm a total of 6-8-9-8 times = 49-53-55-58 sts. When piece measures 48-47-46-43 cm cast off for sleeve cap each side on every other row as follows: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 3-2-2-1 times, 1 st 0-3-4-9 times, and then 2 sts each side until piece measures 54-55-55-55 cm, now dec 3 sts each side and cast off remaining sts on next row, piece measures approx 55-56-56-56 cm.

Assembly: Sew shoulder seams.

Neck: Pick up approx 70-80 sts round the neck using needle size 4.5 and double thread Silketweed. Knit 1 row from the wrong side, change to Symphony and knit 2 rows, cast off loosely.

Front border: Pick up approx 81-91 sts (dividable by 5 +1) along left front edge including neckline using needle size 4.5 and double thread Silketweed. Knit 1 row from the wrong side and knit 1 row from the right side. Now knit next row as follows from the wrong side: 2 sts in garter st, *P2, K3*, repeat from *-* and finish with P2 and 2 sts in garter st. Knit 6 cm Rib like this, then knit 1 row from the wrong side and cast off on next row. Repeat along right front edge, but after 2 rows in Rib, make 7 buttonholes, the top one approx 1 cm from neck line and the bottom one approx 3 cm from bottom edge. Buttonhole = cast off 1 st and cast on new st on next row.

Set in sleeves and sew sleeve and side seams within 1 seam st. Sew on buttons.

Crochet border:
Crochet round bottom edge of back and front pieces and sleeves using crochet hook size 4 and 1 thread Silketweed as follows: 1 dc in first st, *4 ch, skip 1 st, 1 dc in next st*, repeat from *-*.
