JUMPER:

Knitting Gauge: 7sts x 18 rows on needles size 20mm in garter sts = 20 x 20 cm.

Front piece: Cast on 12-13-14-16-18 sts on 2 needles size 20 in Puddel (the reason for using both needles is to make the edge more stretchy). Remove 1 needle and continue in stocking sts. Remember to check your knitting gauge! When piece measures 12 cm inc 1 st each side = 14-15-16-18-20 sts. When piece measures 35-36-37-38-39 cm bind off for armhole each side 1-1-1-2-3 sts = 12-13-14-14-14 sts. When piece measures 48-50-52-54-56 cm bind off the centre 2-3-4-4-4 sts for collar. On the next row bind off 1 st at each neck edge = 4 sts left for shoulder. Bind off loosely when piece measures 54-56-58-60-62 cm.

Back piece: Cast on and knit as described for the front piece but inc 1 st each side when piece measures 24 cm (not 12 cm as on the front piece). Continue until piece measures 52-54-56-58-60 cm. Bind off the centre 2-3-4-4-4 sts for collar. On the next row bind off 1 st at each neck edge = 4 sts left for shoulder. Bind off remaining sts loosely when piece measures 54-56-58-60-62 cm.

Right sleeve: Sew the right shoulder seam. Pick up 12-13-14-15-16 sts around the armhole on needles size 20 with Puddel – see fig.1 (NB: Do not pick up sts over the 1-1-1-2-3 sts which were bound off for armhole on the front and back pieces).Continue in stocking sts. When sleeve measures 3-3-3-6-9 cm insert a marking thread each side. (This marks where to sew in sleeve to the front and back pieces) – from now on all measurements are done from this point. When sleeve measures 9-10-11-5-3 cm bind off 1 st at one side. When sleeve measures 18-19-20-11-9 cm bind off 1 st at the other side. Continue to bind off this way a total of 1-1-1-2-2 times at each side with a space of 9-9-9-6-6 cm in between = 8-9-10-9-10 sts. Continue until sleeve measures 55-56-57-57-58 cm and bind off loosely –to avoid the edge being too tight make 2 yo’s evenly distributed on row at the same time you bind off (the yo’s are bound off as sts).

Neck: Pick up 10-16 sts around the neck on needles size 20 with Puddel. K 1 row from the wrong side and bind off loosely from the right side – If the neck edge gets to tight make 3-4 yo’s evenly distributed on row at the same time you bind off (the yo’s are bound off as sts).

Right sleeve: Sew the left shoulder seam and knit the left sleeve the same way as the right sleeve.

Assembly: Sew the sides together in the outermost sts. Sew the sleeves together the same way up to the marking thread, and sew sleeves to the front and back pieces where the sts were bound off for armholes – the marking thread on the sleeves needs to fit to the end of the side seams on the front and back pieces - see measure figure.

SCARF:

Measures: approx 13 x 180 cm
Materials: Eskimo
150 g colour no. 30, Pastel rose.

Drops crochet Hook size 10 mm

Crochet Gauge: 3 groups of dtr x 3.5 rows on crochet hook size 10 = 10 x 10 cm.
NB: Because of different crochet techniques used by the individual, the gauge may vary, so you might have to drop a size up or down in hook size to obtain the correct gauge.

Crochet info: At the beginning of each row replace the first dtr with 4 ch. Finish each row as follows: Crochet 1 dtr in the 4th ch from beginning of the previous row.

Scarf: Crochet 17 ch (inclusive of the 4 ch to turn with) on hook size 10 in Pastel rose Eskimo.
Crochet 1st row as follows: 1 dtr in the 5th ch from the hook *skip 2 ch, 2 dtr in the next ch* repeat from *-* but finish with a dtr in the last ch instead of 2 dtr. Continue as follows: 4 ch, 1 dtr between the “1dtr” and the “2dtr group”, *skip the next dtr group , 2 dtr before the next dtr group* repeat from *-* but finish with a dtr in the 4 ch from beginning of the previous row. When scarf measures 180 cm, or desired length, cut the thread.
