STRIPES POT HOLDER:
ROUND 1: 2 strands white
NOTE: Now work with 3 strands in the following colors:
ROUND 2-3: 2 strands white + 1 strand light purple, pistachio or denim blue
ROUND 4: 1 strand white + 2 strands light purple, pistachio or denim blue
NOTE: Now work last round with 2 strands in the following color:
ROUND 5: 2 strands light purple, pistachio or denim blue

STRIPES BASKET:
ROUND 1: 2 strands white
NOTE: Now work with 3 strands in the following color:
ROUND 2-7: 3 strands white
ROUND 8: 2 strands white + 1 strand shocking pink

CROCHET TIP:
Beg rounds 1-4 on pot holder with ch 3 and finish with 1 sl st in first dc.
Beg rounds 1-9 on basket with ch 3 and finish with 1 sl st in first dc.

DOUBLE STRAND TIP: Use strand both from inside and outside of the ball. When switching to a new ball, try to avoid switching the 2 strands at the same time - to avoid a thick strand when fastening.

POT HOLDER:
Pot holder is worked in the round in STRIPES - see explanation above!
With 2 strands white ch 4 and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: READ CROCHET TIP! Work 12 dc in ch-ring = 12 dc.
ROUND 2: 2 dc in every dc = 24 dc.
ROUND 3: * 2 dc in first dc, 1 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* = 36 dc.
ROUND 4: * 2 dc in first dc, 1 dc in each of the next 2 dc *, repeat from *-* = 48 dc.
ROUND 5: ch 11 for loop, 1 sc in first dc, * ch 1, 1 sc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round. Then work 1 sl st in each of the 11 ch for loop, finish with 1 sl st in first ch.
Fasten off.

BASKET:
Worked from bottom up.
With 2 strands white ch 4 and and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. Now work basket in STRIPES - see explanation above!
