CROCHET INFO:
Beg every ROUND with 1 ch and finish with 1 sl st in 1st ch from beg of round (these ch are not counted in the no of sc).

BASKET:
Ch 4 with 1 strand of each color in Safran (= 5 strands) on hook size 8 mm / L/11 and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: Read CROCHET INFO! Work 6 sc in ch-ring = 6 sc.
ROUND 2: Work 2 sc in every sc = 12 sc.
ROUND 3: * 2 sc in first sc, 1 sc in next sc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 18 sc.
ROUND 4: * 2 sc in first sc, 1 sc in each of the next 2 sc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 24 sc.
ROUND 5: * 2 sc in first sc, 1 sc in each of the next 3 sc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 30 sc.
ROUND 6: * 2 sc in first sc, 1 sc in each of the next 4 sc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 36 sc.
ROUND 7: * 2 sc in first sc, 1 sc in each of the next 5 sc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 42 sc.
ROUND 8: * 2 sc in first sc, 1 sc in each of the next 6 sc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 48 sc, and piece measures approx. 15 cm / 6'' in diameter.
ROUND 9-15: Then work the edge as follows: 1 sc in every sc = 48 sc.
ROUND 16: Work 1 sl st in back loop of every sc = 48 sts on round. Basket measures approx. 7 cm / 2¾'' vertically.
Fasten off.

Ch 4 with 1 strand of each color in Safran (= 5 strands) on hook size 8 mm / L/11 and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.

ROUND 2: Work 2 sc in every sc = 12 sc.
ROUND 3: * 2 sc in first dc, 1 sc in next sc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 18 sc.
ROUND 4: * 2 sc in first sc, 1 sc in each of the next 2 sc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 24 sc.
ROUND 5: * 2 sc in first sc, 1 sc in each of the next 3 sc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 30 sc.
ROUND 6: * 2 sc in first sc, 1 sc in each of the next 4 sc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 36 sc.
ROUND 7: * 2 sc in first sc, 1 sc in each of the next 5 sc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 42 sc.
ROUND 8: * 2 sc in first sc, 1 sc in each of the next 6 sc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 48 sc.
ROUND 9: * 2 sc in first sc, 1 sc in each of the next 7 sc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 54 sc.
ROUND 10: Ch 10 for strap, 1 sc in first sc, then work 1 sl st in back loop of every sc but replace 1 sl st over every inc on round below with 1 ch (i.e. inc 6 sts as before).
Then work 10 sl sts in loop of the 10 ch for strap, finish with one sl st in first sc = 70 sl sts on round and piece measures approx. 18 cm / 7'' in diameter.
Fasten off.
