Gauge: 9 sts x 13 rows in stockinette st = 10 x 10 cm.
Pattern: See chart. The pattern is seen from the right side and is knit in reverse stockinette st and rib.
Rib-1: * K 3, P 3 *, repeat from * - *.
Rib-2: * K 4, P 4 *, repeat from * - *.
Body: Cast on loosely 84-90-96-102-108 sts with camel; join and place a marker at the join. Knit Rib-1 following stripe Pattern in chart. When the piece measures 20-21-22-23-24 cm knit the rest in reverse stockinette st, continuing to follow Pattern. When the piece measures 32-33-34-35-36 cm, knit the next row as follows: bind off 3 sts (for armhole), knit 36-39-42-45-48 sts (for the front), bind off 6 sts (for the armhole), knit 36-39-42-45-48 sts (for the back), bind off 3 sts (for the armhole). Knit each piece separately.
Front: = 36-39-42-45-48 sts. Bind off for armhole at each side every other row: 2 sts 0-0-1-1-2 time and 1 st 2-3-2-3-2 times = 32-33-34-35-36 sts. When the piece measures 44-46-48-50-52 cm put the center 6-7-6-7-6 sts on a st holder for the neck. Then bind off at each neck edge every other row: 2 sts 1 time and 1 st 2 times = 9-9-10-10-11 sts remain on each shoulder. Bind off when the piece measures 52-54-56-58-60 cm.
Back: = 36-39-42-45-48 sts. Bind off for armhole as on front and knit until the piece measures 50-52-54-56-58 cm. Now bind off the center 12-13-12-13-12 sts for the neck. On the next row dec 1 st at each neck edge = 9-9-10-10-11 sts remain on each shoulder. Bind off when the piece measures 52-54-56-58-60 cm.
Sleeve: Cast on loosely 32-32-40-40-40 sts with camel and knit Rib-2 following Pattern 1. When the piece measures 10 cm dec the K 4/P 4 rib to K 3/P 3 = 24-24-30-30-30 sts and continue with Rib-1. When the piece measures 18 cm knit the rest in reverse stockinette st, following Pattern 1.
When the piece measures 18 cm inc 1 st at each side every 6.5-4.5-8.5-6-5 cm a total of 5-7-4-5-6 times = 34-38-38-40-42 sts. When sleeve measures 49-48-47-46-45 cm bind off for sleeve cap at each side every other row: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 1-2-1-1-1 time and 1 st 2-1-3-3-4 times. Then bind off 2 sts at each side until the piece measures 57 cm, then bind off 3 sts 1 time at each side. Bind off the remaining sts, the piece measures approx. 58 cm.
Assembly: Sew left shoulder.
Collar: Read the entire next section before knitting.
Pick up from right shoulder and around the neck on circular needles 10 with Ull-Flamé: approx. 36 to 41 sts + sts from st holder = 42 or 48 sts on needles (divisible by 6). Pick up with the color in the stripe pattern that comes after the color in the sts on the st holder. Knit rib-1 following Pattern 1 – placing a P 3 at center front. When the piece measures 8 cm bind off the center st of the P 3 at center front knit the rest of the collar in two pieces.
Piece 1: Put sts from center front and to right shoulder on a st holder.
Piece 2: Continue with rib over the remaining sts but keep the center front edge st in garter st. Bind off in pattern when the collar measures 14 cm.
Put sts on st holder (piece 1) back on needles and continue in rib but keep the center front edge st in garter st.
Bind off when the collar measures 14 cm. Sew right shoulder. Sew up along collar edge. Sew sleeve seams, sew in sleeves.
Length: 160 cm [63"]
Width: 14 cm [5.5"]

100% wool, 50 g./50 m./54 yards
200 gr nr 19 camel.
DROPS 8 mm [US 11] needles, or size needed to obtain correct gauge.
Gauge: 15 sts in rib = approx. 10 cm.
Garter st, when knitting flat: Knit all sts, all rows.
Rib: * K 1, P 1 *, repeat from * - *.
Scarf: Cast on 21 sts and knit rib, keeping 1 st at each edge in garter st. When scarf measures approx. 160 cm, bind off in rib.
Fringe: Put 11 fringe tufts on each end.
1 fringe tuft = cut 2 strands yarn each 24 cm. Fasten 1 fringe tuft every other st.
