Hello The bonnet looks like it is entirely knitted with the point de riz yet you say to finish with the point mousse...Merci

Dear Patricia, the very top of the hat is finished with garter stitch, because the decreases would distort the seed stitch . Happy Knitting!

Hello, this is my first project. Could you please clarify does the hat need single or double pointed needles. The pattern just says size 12 pointed needles. Thanks!
30.07.2020 - 00:44DROPS Design answered:
Dear Shel, hat is worked in rows = back and forth, this mean you need single pointed needles = straight needles. Happy knitting!

Salve, potreste indicare cortesemente le misure finite dello scaldacollo? Grazie Cristina
03.12.2015 - 16:14DROPS Design answered:
Buon lavoro!

Hallo. For the neck warmer, 39 stitches give a circumference of 55cm(7x12sts = 10cm). Is this the correct number of stitches to cast on? If that's the case, we can't use an 80cm circular needle. Could you please verify?
22.01.2015 - 20:59DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mary, it maybe a bit tight at the beginning, but it works then. You are welcome to use a smaller needle or work with magic loop if you rather work that way. Happy knitting!

AT THE SAME TIME on every row from RS dec 1 st to the right of all markers by K2 tog (= 6 dec). Repeat the dec a total of 3 times = 17-19 sts on needle. K 1 row from WS. Piece now measures approx 26-28 cm / 10 1/4"-11". On next row from RS K2 tog across the row = 9-10 sts. Cut the thread, pull it through remaining sts, tighten and fasten. Sew the hat tog, sew in outer loops of sts to avoid a chunky seam. -------------------------------------------------------- NECK WARMER: SEED ST: Round 1: * K1, P1 *, repeat from *-* and finish with K1. Round 2: K over P and P over K. Repeat round 2. NEW BALL OF YARN TIP: When changing to a new ball of Polaris separate the old and the new thread into strands. Work SEED ST - see above - in the round. REMEMBER THE GAUGE! See NEW BALL OF YARN TIP! Continue until you have used 3 balls (NOTE! make sure to have enough thread left for binding off). Bind off in Seed st. |
