Bon tricot!

These are quick to knit up and very cute but how do I sew them together? I'm having a hard time figuring it out

I am having trouble with the very end of the pattern. Can you please walk me through "work next rows from RS as follows: K 9-10-11, turn piece, work return row. Now bind off the first 21-24-27 sts = 9-10-11 sts left on needle. K 2 rows on these sts and bind off." Are there any photos or videos of the construction that I could go off of?
17.11.2017 - 01:17DROPS Design answered:
Dear Kirsten, when piece measures 21-23-26 cm work short rows over the first 9-10-11 sts beginning from RS: work the first 9-10-11 sts, turn and work these 9-10-11 sts. On next row cast off the first 21-24-27 sts = 9-10-11 sts remain. Knit 2 rows on these sts and cast off on next row. Happy knitting!

Hola, al parecer hay un error en este patrón, porque lo seguí al pie de la letra y la parte de la punta del pie (14 puntos) , no me alcanza para cerrar, si lo cierro me queda un pie muy angosto, ni siquiera da para la medida de un niño. Ojalá me puedan ayudar. Mi lana es gruesa y quiero unas pantuflas mullidas y esponjosas. Quedo a la espera de su respuesta. Desde ya muchas gracias. Saludos, Solange

I'm sorry! I'm so confused by the way this is written.. Am I supposed to knit in the increasing tip, and then the " K2, 1 YO, K4-6-8, 1 YO, K2 = 10-12-14 sts" part? I'm sorry if this sounds silly. I'm scared to start the pattern until I know for sure!

Dear Sarah, the YO indicated for this row is to inc, on next row, work YOs into back of loop (see video below). Happy knitting!

Knitted DROPS slippers in seed st in ”Polaris”.
DROPS 117-31 |
|
SEED ST: Row 1: * K1, P1 *, repeat from *-*. Row 2: K over P and P over K. Repeat row 2. NEW BALL TIP: When changing to a new ball, split the thread ends, moisten and twist them. INCREASING TIP: Inc from RS with 1 YO. On next row work YO into back of loop to avoid a hole. -------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- SLIPPER: Worked back and forth on needle, beg by toes. Leave approx 30 cm / 12'' thread when casting on, use this for sewing slipper tog afterwards. Cast on 8-10-12 sts on needle size 10 mm / US 15 with Polaris. K 1 row from WS and continue with inc on next row as follows - see INCREASING TIP: K2, 1 YO, K4-6-8, 1 YO, K2 = 10-12-14 sts. K 1 row from WS. Inc on next row as follows: K4, 1 YO, K2-4-6, 1 YO, K4 = 12-14-16 sts. K 1 row from WS. Now continue in SEED ST on all sts – see above! REMEMBER THE GAUGE! See NEW BALL TIP! Continue until piece measures 9-11-13 cm / 3½"-4 3/8"-5 1/8". Now cast on 9-10-11 new sts at the end of the next 2 rows = 30-34-38 sts. Continue in seed st on all sts. When piece measures 21-23-26 cm / 8 1/4"-9"-10 1/4" work next rows from RS as follows: K 9-10-11, turn piece, work return row. Now bind off the first 21-24-27 sts = 9-10-11 sts left on needle. K 2 rows on these sts and bind off. ASSEMBLY: Pull thread from beg through the 8-10-12 sts from cast on row, tighten toes and sew slipper tog mid upper foot in outer loops of sts, but leave an opening of 6-6-7 cm / 2½"-2½"-2 3/4" from the top down. Sew tog mid back, edge to edge to avoid a chunky seam. |
