Bon tricot!

When following the M.1 diagram. I have found that after you do a decease row it doesn’t work out correctly on the back section. The purl stitches are not lined up correctly on the back section. Is there anything that can be done to fix this problem? Thanks
17.11.2022 - 02:22DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Patrick, since the number of stitches will decrease, the pattern has to be adjusted on each piece, ie each front piece and back piece, on the sides, the pattern will not match anymore, but make sure you continue to work M.1 over the back piece and 2nd front piece as before - purled sts (seen from RS) should be lined up just as before. Happy knitting!

Dear Anne, you can see the charts for M.1a and M.1b after the pattern. These charts indicate how to work the stitches of the pattern, with each symbol explained in the diagram (just under the header). If you need help understanding how to read the charts, you may check the following link:https://www.garnstudio.com/lesson.php?id=68&cid=19. Happy knitting!

Where pattern says “ When piece measures 6 cm dec 1 st on both sides of each MT – see Decreasing tip – on every 3.5-3.5-3.5-4-4-4 cm a total of 8 times” does this mean dec 1 stitch across the row 8 times, every 3.5 cm? I don’t understand “on both sides of each MT”. Does this mean evenly across the row?
28.02.2021 - 03:10DROPS Design answered:
Dear Paris, "both sides of each MT" means thet you should increase before and after each marker tread. Happy Knitting!
