Knitting gauge: 19 sts x 25 rows on needles size 4 mm / US 6 with 2 strands Alpaca in stockinette sts = 10 x 10 cm / 4'' x 4''.
Rib: *K2, P3*, repeat from *-*.
Increasing tips: Inc after 2 K sts by picking up st from previous row and P this into back of st to avoid making a hole. Make the next inc just before 2 K sts so that the inc are alternated to the right and to the left of the P sections.
Neck warmer:
Worked in the round from the top down.
Fold the circular needle size 4 mm / US 6 double and cast on 80 sts using both ends (to make sure the edge becomes elastic) with 2 strands Alpaca.
Pull out 1 end/needle and K1 round, P 1 round and K1 round.
Now continue in Rib.
When piece measures 12 cm / 4¾'' inc all P3 to P4 – see Increasing tips = 96 sts.
Work 1 round in Rib and on next round inc all P4 to P5.
Now inc 1 st in all P sections on every 4th round a total of 4 times and on every 6th round a total of 2 times - piece measures approx 22 cm / 8 3/4''.
K1 round, P1 round, K1 round and then bind off loosely – to make sure the edge becomes elastic make a yo after every 12 sts whilst binding off and bind off the yo’s as sts.
Crochet border:
Crochet a border round the bottom and top edges with crochet hook size 3.5 mm/E/4 and Cotton Viscose as follows:
1 sc in the first st, *4 ch, skip 1 st, 1 sc in next st*, repeat from *-* and finish with 4 ch and 1 edge st in first sc from beg of round.
Flower:
Ch 4 on crochet hook size 3.5 mm/E/4 with Cotton Viscose and form a ring with a sl st in first ch.
1st round: 1 sc in ring, *2 ch, 1 sc in ring*, repeat from *-* a total of 6 times and finish with 2 ch and a sl st in the first sc from beg of round = 7 ch spaces.
2nd round: 1 ch and crochet as follows in each ch space: 1 sc, 3 dc and 1 sc. Finish with 1 sl st in first sc from beg of round. Turn the piece and finish the flower from the back.
3rd round: ch 1, *1 sc round sc from 1st round, 4 ch*, repeat from *-* a total of 7 times and finish with a sl st in the first sc from beg of round.
4th round: 1 ch and crochet as follows in each ch space: 1 sc, ch 1, 5 dc, ch 1, 1 sc. Finish with 1 sl st in the first sc from beg of round. Change to Alpaca.
5th round: *1 sc around sc from 3rd round, 5 ch*, repeat from *-* a total of 7 times and finish with a sl st in the first sc from beg of round.
6th round: 1 ch and crochet as follows in each ch space: 1 sc, ch 1, 7 dc, ch 1, 1 sc. Finish with 1 sl st in the first sc from beg of round. Change back to Cotton Viscose.
7th round: *1 sc around sc from 5th round, 5 ch*, repeat from *-* a total of 7 times and finish with a sl st in the first sc from beg of round.
8th round: 1 ch and crochet as follows in each ch space: 1 sc, ch 1, 7 dc, ch 1, 1 sc. Finish with 1 sl st in the first sc from beg of round.
