Gauge: 23 sts x 30 rows on smaller needles in stockinette st = 10 x 10 cm

Knitting tips (for armhole):
All decs are made on right side rows. Dec inside of 2 edge sts in stockinette st as follows:
After 2 edge sts: Slip 1 st as if to knit, K 1, psso.
Before 2 edge sts: K 2 tog.

Back: Cast on 94-101-113-122-136 sts on smaller needles with Silke-Tweed and knit stockinette st. When the piece measures 8 cm inc 1 st at each side every 8-8-9-9-9 cm a total of 4 times = 102-109-121-130-144 sts.
When the piece measures 39-40-41-42-43 cm bind off 4-4-6-7-9 sts at each side for armhole. Then dec 1 st at each side every other row – see knitting tips above – 6-8-10-13-17 times = 82-85-89-90-92 sts. When the piece measures 56-58-60-62-64 cm bind off the center 24-25-25-26-28 sts for the neck. Then dec 1 st at each neck edge every other row 2 times = 27-28-30-30-30 sts remain on each shoulder. Bind off when the piece measures 58-60-62-64-66 cm.
Right front: Cast on 38-40-47-51-57 sts on smaller needles with Silke-Tweed.
Read the entire next section before knitting:
Inc at the center front: Knit 4-3-4-5-4 rows stockinette st, and then inc 1 st at the center front edge every 4 rows: 8-10-11-12-14 times and then every other row: 20-18-17-16-14 times.
Side inc: When the piece measures 8 cm inc at the side as on back.
Armhole: When the piece measures 39-40-41-42-43 cm bind off for armhole at the side as on back.
Neck shaping: After all incs at the center front are complete, knit 2 rows stockinette st, (the piece measures approx. 25-26-27-28-29 cm), then dec 1 st at center front edge for the neck every other row: 22-19-19-18-16 times, then every 4 rows: 11-13-14-15-17 times.
After all shaping is complete 27-28-30-30-30 sts remain on shoulder. Bind off when the piece measures 58-60-62-64-66 cm.

Left front: Cast on and knit the same as the right, reversing shaping.

Sleeve: Cast on 54-57-59-62-65 sts on larger double-pointed needles with Vivaldi; join and place a marker at the join. P 1 row, then knit stockinette st until piece measures 16 cm. Change to smaller double-pointed needles and Silke-Tweed. K 1 row, P 1 row, then knit stockinette st.
When the piece measures 18-20-22-20-24 cm inc 1 st each side of marker every 2.5-2-1.5-1.5-1 cm a total of 12-13-15-16-18 times = 78-83-89-94-101 sts. When sleeve measures 48-48-47-46-45 cm bind off 3 sts each side of marker. Then bind off at each side every other row: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 3-3-4-4-4 times and 1 st 5-6-6-8-10 times, then bind off 2 sts at each side until piece measures 55-56-56-57-57 cm, then bind off 3 sts 1 time at each side. Bind off the remaining sts, the piece measures approx. 56-57-57-58-58 cm.

Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Sew side seams using edge sts as seam allowance. Sew in sleeves.
