Crochet gauge: 12 tr x 5 rows on hook size 4mm [US G/6] with Vivaldi = 10 x 10 cm [4" x 4"] Crochet info: At the beg of each row replace the first tr with 4 ch. Increasing tip: Only inc on rows with tr. To inc 1 tr crochet 2 tr in the penultimate sc/tr each side. Binding off tip: Only bind off on rows with tr. bind off as follows at beg of row: crochet 1 sl st over the first tr bind off as follows at the end of row: Turn the piece when number of tr to be bind off is left on row. Pattern description: Crochet M.1 and M.2 in Cotton Viscose. M.1: see diagram1. M.2 = 2 rows of sc. Crochet pattern when piece measures: Back and front piece: Size S: 7(M.1) - 17(M.2) - 20(M.1) - 42(M.2) cm [2 ¾"(M.1) – 6 ¾"(M.2) – 8"(M.1) – 16½"(M.2)] Size M: 7(M.1) - 18(M.2) - 21(M.1) - 43(M.2) cm [2 ¾"(M.1) – 7"(M.2) – 8 ¼"(M.1) – 17"(M.2)] Size L: 8(M.1) - 19(M.2) - 22(M.1) - 45(M.2) cm [3⅛"(M.1) – 7½"(M.2) – 8 ¾"(M.1) – 17 ¾"(M.2)] Size XL: 8(M.1) - 19(M.2) - 23(M.1) - 46(M.2) cm [3⅛" (M.1) - 7½"(M.2) – 9"(M.1) – 18"(M.2)] Size XXL: 8(M.1) - 20(M.2) - 24(M.1) - 48(M.2) cm [3⅛" (M.1) – 8"(M.2) – 9½"(M.1) – 19"(M.2)] Adjusting number of sc: When piece measures 7-7-8-8-8 cm [2 ¾"-2 ¾"-3⅛"-3⅛"-3⅛"], adjust number of sc on first row of M.1 to 58-61-67-73-82 sc on back piece and to 31-37-40-43-46 sc on front piece. On last row of M.1 adjust number of sc back to 50-55-60-67-74 sc on back piece and to 28-31-34-37-40 sc on front piece. When piece measures 20-21-22-23-24 cm [8"-8 ¼"-8 ¾"-9"-9½"], adjust number of sc on first row of M.1 to 58-61-67-73-82 sc on back piece and to 31-37-40-43-46 sc on front piece. On last row of M.1 adjust number of sc back to 52-57-62-69-76 sc on back piece and to 29-32-35-38-41 sc on front piece. On last row of M.1 adjust number of sc back to 42-44-46-50-52 sc. Back piece: Crochet 64-70-77-86-96 ch (includes 1 ch to turn with) on crochet hook size 4 mm [US G/6]with 1 thread Vivaldi and 1 thread Cotton Viscose. Crochet 1 sc in second ch from crochet hook, 1 sc in each of the next 2 ch, *skip 1 ch, 1 sc in each of the next 3 ch*, repeat from *-* (in size M and XL finish row with 1 sc in each of the last 2 ch, in size L finish with 1 sc in the last ch) = 48-53-58-65-72 sc. Now crochet 1 row sc with Cotton Viscose only. Change to 1 thread Vivaldi and crochet 1 tr in each sc – see Crochet info. Continue with 1 tr in each tr. When piece measures approx 5 and 15 cm [2" and 6"] inc 1 tr each side – see Increasing tip = 52-57-62-69-76 tr. At the same time crochet pattern – see Pattern description. When piece measures 35-36-37-38-39 cm [13 ¾"-14 ¼"-14½"-15"-15 ¼"] bind off for armhole each side on every row as follows : 3 tr 1-1-1-2-2 times, 2 tr 0-1-1-1-2 times and 1 tr 2-2-3-2-3 times = 42-43-46-49-50 tr –see binding off. At the same time when piece measures 52-54-56-58-60 cm [20½"-21 ¼"-22"-22 ¾"-23⅝"] crochet 1 row but only on 15-15-16-17-17 tr each side (do not crochet on the middle 12-13-14-15-16 tr = neckline). Cut the thread, piece measures approx 54-56-58-60-62 cm [21 ¼"-22"-22 ¾"-23⅝"-24⅜"]. Left front piece: Crochet from side towards mid front. Crochet 36-40-44-48-52 ch (includes 1 ch to turn with) on crochet hook size 4 mm [US G/6] with 1 thread Vivaldi and 1 thread Cotton Viscose. Crochet 1 sc in second ch from crochet hook, 1 sc in each of the next 2 ch, *skip 1 ch, 1 sc in each of the next 3 ch*, repeat from *-* = 27-30-33-36-39 sc. Now crochet 1 row sc with Cotton Viscose only. Change to 1 thread Vivaldi and crochet 1 tr in each sc – see Crochet info. Continue with 1 tr in each tr. Inc at side as described for back piece = 29-32-35-38-41 tr – read inc. tips. At the same time crochet pattern – see Pattern description. At the same time when piece measures 30-31-32-33-34 cm [11 ¾"-12 ¼"-12½"-13"-13⅜"] bind off for neckline towards mid front on every row – see Binding off tip: 1 tr a total of 9-10-11-11-11 times. At the same time bind off for armhole as described for back piece when piece measures 35-36-37-38-39 cm [13 ¾"-14 ¼"-14½"-15"-15 ¼"] = 15-15-16-17-17 tr left on shoulder. Continue until piece approx 54-56-58-60-62 cm [21 ¼"-22"-22 ¾"-23⅝"-24⅜"] and cut the thread. Right front piece: Like left front piece, and assembled with WS out (to make sure the pattern and the neckline is identical on both front pieces). Sleeve: Crochet 48-48-48-56-56 ch (includes 1 ch to turn with) on crochet hook size 4 mm [US G/6]with 1 thread Vivaldi and 1 thread Cotton Viscose. Crochet 1 sc in second ch from crochet hook, 1 sc in each of the next 2 ch, *skip 1 ch, 1 sc in each of the next 3 ch*, repeat from *-* = 36-36-36-42-42 sc. Now crochet 1 row sc with Cotton Viscose only. Change to 1 thread Vivaldi and crochet 1 tr in each sc – see Crochet info. Continue with 1 tr in each tr. At the same time when piece measures 5 cm [2"] inc 1 tr each side on every other row a total of 3-4-5-4-5 times (inc. only when crochet tr) = 42-44-46-50-52 tr– see Increasing tip. At the same time crochet pattern – see Pattern description. When piece measures 25-24-24-23-23 cm [9 ¾"-9½"-9½"-9"-9"] bind off for sleeve cap each side on every row – see binding off tip: 4 tr 2 times and 2 tr each side until piece measures approx 34-34-35-35-36 cm [13⅜"-13⅜"-13 ¾"-13 ¾"-14 ¼"]. Cut the thread. Assembly: Sew shoulder seams with neat sts. Set in sleeves. Sew sleeve and side seam. Crochet border: See Crochet info! Crochet a border along one front piece, round neckline and along the other front piece as follows: Crochet approx 130-160 sc (the border should be even) with crochet hook size 4 mm [US G/6]and Vivaldi. Make sure not to crochet too many so the opening expand or the few so the edge becomes too tight. Row 1: 1 tr in each sc with Vivaldi Row 2: 1 sc in each tr with Cotton Viscose Row 3: 1 sc in each sc with 1 thread Cotton Viscose and 1 thread Vivaldi (double thread). Crochet string: Crochet a chain of ch with crochet hook size 4 mm [US G/6]and Vivaldi measuring approx 130 to 170 cm [51"-66"]. Pull string though the row of tr after the second row in M.1 at the waist, with the ends mid front. Make a tassel for each end of the string as follows: Cut 12 threads of Cotton Viscose and 8 threads Vivaldi measuring 20 cm [8"] each. Fold them double, sew the string to the folded end and wind one of the threads round the tassel at the top to keep it in place. |

Jeg kan slet ikke få hæklefastheden til at passe. Selv om jeg vælger hæklenål 5, skal jeg helt op i en størrelse XL for at få bredden til at passe til en størrelse M, og højden på maskerne kan jeg på ingen måde få til at blive 2 cm - så skal jeg vist helt op på en nål 10.
