FLOWER:
Ch 5 and form a ring with 1 sl st in 1st ch - see diagram A.1.
ROW 1: ch 2 (replace 1st hdc). Then work 9 hdc in ch-ring = 10 hdc.
Then work back and forth as follows: ch 1, 1 sl st in first hdc, ch 9, 1 sl st in same hdc, * 1 sl st in each of the next 2 hdc, 9 ch, 1 sl st in same hdc *, repeat from *-* 3 more times (=5 ch-spaces). Ch 2 (replace first hdc). In ch-space work 3 hdc, 2 dc, 2 tr, 2 dc, 4 hdc, 1 sl st in next sl st from previous round. See diagram A.2.
In the next 4 ch-spaces work as follows: 4 hdc, 2 dc, 2 tr, 2 dc, 4 hdc, 1 sl st in next sl st from previous round = 5 leaves.
PATTERN:

NECKLACE:
Read US/UK above! First work the middle circle on necklace, then work the circles in the sides.
LARGE CIRCLE:
Ch 12 on hook size 3 mm / C and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch - see diagram A.5.
ROUND 1: ch 2 (replace 1st hdc), 19 hdc in ch-ring = 20 hdc. Finish with 1 sl st in 2nd ch.
ROUND 2: ch 3 (replace 1st dc), 1 dc in 1st hdc, 2 dc in every hdc on round = 40 dc on round. Finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch.
ROUND 3: ch 4 (replace 1st tr), 1 tr in 1st dc, * 1 tr in next dc, 2 tr in next dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round (work 3 tr over 2 dc) = 60 tr on round. Finish with 1 sl st in 4th ch.
Then work as follows: In 1st tr work FLOWER - see explanation above. After last row on flower continue to work around the large circle with WS towards you as follows: Work 1 sl st LOOSELY in back loop of each of the next 10 tr, ch 9, 1 sl st LOOSELY in back loop of same tr as last sl st. Turn piece and work from RS in ch-space as follows: 4 hdc, 2 dc, 2 tr, 2 dc, 4 hdc - see diagram A.2. Then work 1 sl st LOOSELY in back loop of each of the next 20 tr. Work FLOWER - see explanation above.
After last row on flower continue to work around the circle with WS towards you as follows:
Work 1 sl st LOOSELY in back loop of each of the next 20 tr, ch 9, 1 sl st LOOSELY in back loop of same tr as last sl st. Turn piece and work from RS in ch-space as follows: 4 hdc, 2 dc, 2 tr, 2 dc, 4 hdc - see diagram A.2.
Then work with WS towards you as follows: 1 sl st LOOSELY in back loop of each of the next tr. Fasten off.
SMALL CIRCLE NO 1 (LEFT SIDE):
Ch 12 on hook size 3 mm / C and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: ch 2 (replace 1st hdc), 19 hdc in ch-ring = 20 hdc.
Finish with 1 sl st in 2nd ch - see diagram A.3.
ROUND 2: ch 4 (replace 1st tr), 1 tr in 1st hdc, 2 tr in each of the next 6 hdc. Then fasten circle to the large circle as follows: Work 1 sl st between tr on leaf on the left side of the large circle. Work 2 tr in each of the next 3 hdc on small circle, 1 sl st between tr on 1st leaf on flower. Work 2 tr in each of the next 3 hdc on small circle, 1 sl st between tr on 2nd leaf on flower.
2 tr in each of the next hdc on small circle = 40 tr. Finish with 1 sl st in 4th ch.
Then work back and forth as follows:
ROW 1: * ch 1, 1 sc in next tr, ch 6, 1 sl st in same sc *, repeat from *-* 3 more times (= 4 times in total) = 4 leaves.

ROW 2: Work as follows in first ch-space: ch 2 (replace first hdc), 3 hdc, 2 dc, 4 hdc, 1 sl st in ch from previous row. In the next 3 ch-spaces work as follows: 4 hdc, 2 dc, 4 hdc, 1 sl st in ch from previous row = 4 leaves. Fasten off.
SMALL CIRCLE NO 2 (LEFT SIDE):
Work as small circle no 1 but work 2nd round as follows:
Ch 4 (replace 1st tr), 1 tr in 1st hdc, 2 tr in each of the next 8 hdc. Then fasten small circle no 1 and 2 tog as follows: Work 1 sl st between dc on 2nd leaf on small circle no 1. Work 2 tr in each of the next 3 hdc on circle no 2, 1 sl st between dc on 1st leaf on small circle no 1. Work 2 tr in each of the next hdc on no 2 = 40 tr. Finish with 1 sl st in 4th ch. Then work as small circle no 1.
SMALL CIRCLE NO 3 (RIGHT SIDE):
Work as small circle no 1 but work 2nd round as follows:
Ch 4 (replace 1st tr), 1 tr in 1st hdc, 2 tr in each of the next 8 hdc. Then fasten the circle to large circle as follows: Work 1 sl st between tr on 4th leaf on flower. Work 2 tr in each of the next 3 hdc on small circle, 1 sl st between tr on 5th leaf on flower. Work 2 tr in each of the next 3 hdc on small circle, 1 sl st between tr in leaf on the right side of the large circle.
2 tr in each of the next hdc on small circle = 40 tr. Finish with 1 sl st in 4th ch. Then work as small circle no 1.
SMALL CIRCLE NO 4 (RIGHT SIDE):
Work as small circle no 1 but work 2nd round as follows:
Ch 4 (replace 1st tr), 1 tr in 1st hdc, 2 tr in each of the next 10 hdc. Then fasten the circle to small circle no 3 as follows: Work 1 sl st between dc on 4th leaf on small circle no 3. Work 2 tr in each of the next 3 hdc on small circle no 4, 1 sl st between dc on 3rd leaf on small circle no 3. Work 2 tr in each of the next hdc on small circle no 4 = 40 tr. Finish with 1 sl st in 4th ch. Then work as small circle no 1.
CHAIN:
Chain a band approx. 36 cm / 14 1/4'' long, in both sides. Beg with 1 sl st through outer edge on leaf towards mid front on circle no 2 and 4. Fasten off.

All patterns are carefully reviewed, but we must make reservation for possible mistakes. All patterns are translated from Norwegian and you can always check the original pattern for measurements and calculations. Go to original pattern for design DROPS 146-14.
