With 2 strands denim blue Paris ch 4 on hook size 8 mm / L/11 and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. Then work dc while AT THE SAME TIME working STRIPES - see explanation above.

ROUND 1: Read CROCHET INFO! Work 12 dc in ch-ring = 12 dc.

ROUND 2: Then work with 3 strands until finished. Work 2 dc in every dc = 24 dc - read COLOR CHANGE.

ROUND 3: * 2 dc in first dc, 1 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 36 dc.

ROUND 4: * 2 dc in first dc, 1 dc in each of the next 2 dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 48 dc.

ROUND 5: * 2 dc in first dc, 1 dc in each of the next 3 dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 60 dc.

ROUND 6: * 2 dc in first dc, 1 dc in each of the next 4 dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 72 dc.

ROUND 7-18: Continue inc like this (i.e. on every round worked, work 1 dc more between every time 2 dc are worked in same st).

ROUND 19: Work 1 sl st in back loop of every dc but 1 ch replaces 1 sl st over each inc in the round below (i.e. inc 12 sts as before) = 228 sts on round and piece measures approx. 80 cm / 31½'' in diameter.
Fasten off.
