A.1 shows SQUARE 1. A.2 shows 1st round in SQUARE 2, A.3 shows rounds 3 to 5 in SQUARE 2. A.4 shows how to place the squares during assembly. A.5 shows how to assemble.

SQUARE 1 (without flower):
Worked in the round.
Ch 4 with Big Delight on hook size 5 mm / H/8 and form a ring with 1 sl st in 1st ch.
ROUND 1: See diagram A.1 - ch 1, 6 sc in ch-ring, finish with 1 sl st in 1st sc from beg of round.
ROUND 2: ch 1, * 1 sc in next sc, ch 3 *, repeat from *-* the entire round, finish with 1 sl st in 1st sc from beg of round = 6 sc and 6 ch-spaces.
ROUND 3: ch 1, 1 sc in 1st ch-space, ch 3, 1 sc in same space, * ch 3, 1 sc in next ch-space, ch 3, 1 sc in same space *, repeat from *-* the entire round, finish with ch 3 and 1 sl st in 1st sc from beg of round = 12 sc and 12 ch-spaces.
ROUND 4: ch 1, 1 sc in 1st ch-space, * ch 3, 1 sc in next space, ch 3, 1 sc in next ch-space, ch 7 (= corner), 1 sc in next space *, repeat from *-* the entire round - but when repeating the last time, do not work last sc but work 1 sl st in 1st sc from beg of round.
ROUND 5: ch 3, 2 dc in 1st ch-space, * 3 dc in next ch-space, in next ch-space work 3 dc, ch 3 and 3 dc (= corner), 3 dc in next ch-space *, repeat from *-* the entire round - but when repeating the last time, do not work the last 3 dc but work 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round.
SQUARE 2 (with flower):
Worked in the round.
Ch 4 with Big Delight on hook size 5 mm / H/8 and form a ring with 1 sl st in 1st ch.
ROUND 1: See diagram A.2 - ch 1,* 1 sc in ch-ring, ch 5, 3 dc in 5th ch from hook *, repeat from *-* a total of 6 times = 6 leaves, finish with 1 sl st in 1st sc from beg of round, turn piece.
ROUND 2: Work from WS 1 sc in 1st sc from 1st round, * ch 3, 1 sc in next sc from 1st round *, repeat from *-* the entire round, finish with 1 sl st in 1st sc from beg of round = 6 sc and 6 ch-spaces, turn piece.
ROUND 3-5: Work as SQUARE 1 - see diagram A.3.
BLANKET:
Work 59 pieces of SQUARE 1 and 58 pieces of SQUARE 2 (117 squares in total).
ASSEMBLY:
Work squares tog alongside and then across.
Place the squares with 9 squares in width and 13 rows vertically - see diagram A.4.
Place 2 and 2 squares on top of each other WS against WS, and crochet them tog with Nepal as follows: See diagram A.5 - ** work 1 sc in ch-space in the corner on 1st square, ch 1, 1 sc in ch-space in the corner on 2nd square, * ch 3, 1 sc in next ch-space on 1st square, ch 1, 1 sc in next ch-space on 2nd square *, repeat from *-* until next corner, finish with 3 ch for transition to next square **.
Repeat from **-**.
Crochet an edge with Nepal around the entire blanket as follows: ** Work 1 sc in corner on one square, * ch 3, 1 sc in next ch-space *, repeat from *-* 3 more times (4 times in total), ch 3 for transition to next square **.
Repeat from **-** around the blanket but work as follows in every corner: Work 1 sc, ch 3 and 1 sc in ch-space in the corner.
