Bon tricot!

Can I make this scarf larger, say 12 in. Wide, and how much yarn would I need?
01.07.2017 - 16:34DROPS Design answered:
Dear Anne, yes you can, and you would need approximately twice the yarn, in this case 400g, or 8 balls.

03.06.2012 - 16:40DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mina, the pattern is worked this way : you wrap yarn 1 or more times around your needle = 1 yo, 2yos etc... and on row after, you just drop them from needle, you just K all sts, but leave yo unworked, just slipping them off the needle. Happy knitting !

Should 5,5 needles be used as mentioned on the pattern or 3,5 on the yarn details? Thanks
31.03.2012 - 14:39DROPS Design answered:
This pattern recommends a needle size 3.5 mm / US 4 to get the correct gauge.
