Buongiorno Monica. Il filato Vienna appartiene al gruppo D, il Brushed Alpaca Silk al gruppo C quindi un po' più sottile. Potrebbe sostituire Vienna con 3 capi di Alpaca Silk oppure con il filato Melody (1 capo solo). Buon lavoro!

Cannarella, the pattern you are on is a British pattern. There are different terms for crocheting in British and American English. A dc in UK is a sc in US. The videos are using US as standard.

LOVE KNOTS: * Pull st on hook long - approx. 2 cm / ¾", 1 YO, pull YO through long st, insert hook through chain (see fig. 1 - chain = D on fig. 1) made from the long st, 1 YO, pull YO through the chain (= 2 sts on hook), 1 YO, pull YO through the 2 sts on hook *. From *-* = 1 love knot -------------------------------------------------------- NECK WARMER: The neck warmer is worked back and forth in one long piece and is sewn tog when finished. Chain 1. See A (= start) on Fig. 2. ROW 1: Work 10 LOVE KNOTS - see explanation above (includes 2 knots for turn). ROW 2: Turn piece. Work 1 sc in 5th knot from hook, * work 2 love knots, skip 1 knot, work 1 sc in next knot *, repeat from *-* the rest of row, finish with 1 sc in first ch made. ROW 3: Turn piece. Work 2 love knots, 1 sc in next to last knot from previous row, * work 2 love knots, skip 1 knot, work 1 sc in next knot *, repeat from *-* the rest of row. ROW 4: Turn piece. Work 3 love knots, 1 sc in next to last knot from previous row, * 2 love knots, skip 1 knot, 1 sc in next knot *, repeat from *-* the rest of row. Repeat row 3 and 4 until piece measures approx. 150 cm / 59" (finish after row 4). Now work an edge as follows (see Fig. 3, X = beg of edge): Turn piece. Work 2 love knots, 1 sc in next to last knot from previous row, * 1 love knot, skip 1 knot, 1 sc in next knot *, repeat from *-* the rest of row (now there will be a straight edge), continue with 2 love knots (= corner), turn piece to work along the long side, 1 sc in next knot, * 1 love knot, skip 1 knot, 1 sc in next knot *, repeat from *-* down the entire long side. Continue with 2 love knots (= corner), turn piece to work along the short side (= 1st row), 1 sc in next knot, * 1 love knot, skip 1 knot, 1 sc in next knot *, repeat from *-* along the entire side, finish with 2 love knots and fasten with 1 sl st in the very first ch made.
