SCARF:
Crochet in squares which are crochet tog afterwards. Crochet a total of 9 squares.
CROCHET SQUARE:
Beg with a crochet flower in Eskimo. Crochet with hook size 6 mm / J/10 and medium purple Eskimo as follows: ch 4 and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: * 1 sc in ring, ch 3 *, repeat from *-* a total of 3 times and finish with 1 sl st in first sc from beg of round = 3 ch spaces.
ROUND 2: Crochet as follows in each ch space: 1 sl st, 5 dc and 1 sl st = 3 leaves. Turn piece – work next round from the back of flower.
ROUND 3: ch 1, 1 sc round first sc from round 1, ch 3, 1 sc at the bottom between the 3rd and 4th dc on first leaf from round 2, ch 3, 1 sc at the bottom between the first and 2nd dc on second leaf from round 2, ch 3, 1 sc at the bottom between the 5th dc and sl st in second leaf from round 2, ch 3, 1 sc at the bottom between the first and 2nd dc in third leaf from round 2, ch 3, 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round = 5 ch spaces. Turn piece – work next from the front of flower.
ROUND 4: Crochet as follows in each ch space: 1 sl st, 6 dc and 1 sl st = 5 leaves. Turn piece – work next round from the back of flower.
Cut the thread and continue with purple.
ROUND 5: ch 1, 1 sc round first sc from round 3, ch 3, 1 sc at the bottom of 5th dc in first leaf from round 4, ch 3, 1 sc at the bottom of 4th dc in second leaf from round 4, ch 3, 1 sc at the bottom of 3rd dc in third leaf from round 4, ch 3, 1 sc at the bottom of 2nd dc in fourth leaf from round 4, ch 3, 1 sc at the bottom of first dc in fifth leaf from round 4, ch 3, 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round = 6 ch spaces. Turn piece – work next round from the front of flower.
ROUND 6: Crochet as follows in each ch space: 1 sl st, 6 dc and 1 sl st = 6 leaves. Turn piece – work next round from the back of flower.
ROUND 7: ch 1, 1 sc round first sc from round 5, ch 3, 1 sc at the bottom of 5th dc in first leaf from round 6, ch 3, 1 sc at the bottom of 3rd dc in second leaf from round 6, ch 3, 1 sc at the bottom of 2nd dc in third leaf from round 6, ch 3, 1 sc at the bottom of 6th dc in third leaf from round 6, ch 3, 1 sc at the bottom of 5th dc in fourth leaf from round 6, ch 3, 1 sc at the bottom of 3rd dc in fifth leaf from round 6, ch 3, 1 sc at the bottom of 2nd dc in sixth leaf from round 6, ch 3, 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round = 8 ch spaces. Turn piece – work next round from the front of flower.
ROUND 8: Crochet as follows in each ch space: 1 sl st, 6 dc and 1 sl st = 8 leaves. Cut and fasten threads.
Continue in M.1 with khaki green mix. Crochet first row of M.1 in round 5 from the back of flower.
Crochet the squares tog as follows: place 2 squares with WS facing each other and crochet through both layers from RS: 1 sc, * ch 2, skip approx 1.5 cm / ½'', 1 sc *, repeat from *-*.
Finally crochet a similar border round the square.
