On row 4 of m3, it says slip1st on CN, k3, p1 from CN, do I hold CN front or back? Then slip 3sts on CN, p1, k3 from CN again so do I place CN front or back? Thankyou

Dear Colette, in the chart it specifies where the cable needle is for each symbol. In the symbol you indicated: "slip 1 st on cable needle behind piece, K3, P1 from cable needle ". So the cable needle is behind the piece. In the second symbol you indicated: "slip 3 sts on cable needle in front of piece, P1, K3 from cable needle ". So you hold the cable needle in front of the piece. Happy knitting!

Good Morning. I love your patterns and have made several sweaters and normally can follow the instructions or diagrams with no trouble. However I am having problems knitting the sleeves in 44-18. I am unsure how to increase in the first round and maintain the pattern and similarly with the further increases under the arm. I am knitting the sleeves with magic loop and so have mid sleeve (top or bottom) at one end of each needle. I would appreciate help on how to maintain the pattern. Thank you

I dont understanding your insts. I'm doing a large. It says 36 M1, M2 Inc 20 on centre 52 front and back. What does 36 sts mean....? Do you start the pattern on graf during the increase row or nxt row. Not very explicit?
27.12.2022 - 04:01DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Tomac, there was a mistake in the number of sts there, you will increase 20 sts over the middle 32 sts to get 52 sts to work diagram M.3, this means work: *M.1 over the first/next 36 sts (= repeat the 4 sts in diagram a total of 9 times, work the next 32 sts increasing 20 sts evenly and work the first row of M.3 (= 52 sts), work M.2 over the next 36 sts (= repeat the 4 sts in diagram a total of 9 times)* - and work from *-* one more time = 248 sts on needle. Happy knitting!

Hei Marie.
