We are now sending the new fall/winter catalogs to our DROPS dealers. They are printed in a limited edition and and each catalog costs only 1£/$2 over the counter and 2£/$4 by mail order. DROPS fall/winter 09/10 collection is very varied. From fine to heavy, garments with texture and patterned. Jackets, sweaters, ponchos, shawls and lots of accessories. The designs are chosen on the basis of an overall assessment, where voting results and accompanying comments have been important.

Crochet info: Replace the first dc at beginning of each round with a ch, and finish each round with a sl st in the first dc on round.
Crochet dc’s tog. as follows: 2 dc’s are crochet tog. as follows: push the hook into the first st, get the thread and push the hook through the next st, get the thread, yrh and pull the thread through all 3 sts on hook.

Head and body: Read Crochet info! Crochet 4 ch and make a loop with a sl st.
1st round: Crochet 6 dc around the loop
2nd round: 2 dc in each dc = 12 dc.
3rd round: 1 dc in each dc = 12 dc.
4th round: *1 dc in the first dc, 2 dc in the next dc*, repeat from *-* until finish round = 18 dc.
5th – 8th round: 1 dc in each dc = 18 dc.
9th round: *1 dc in the first dc, crochet the next 2 dc tog. (see explanation above)*, repeat from *-* until finish round = 12 dc.
10th round: 1 dc in each dc = 12 dc.
11th round: Crochet the dc’s tog. 2 and 2 = 6 dc.
12th round: 1 dc in each dc = 6 dc.
13th round: Begin the increase for the body here:
Crochet 2 dc in each dc = 12 dc.
14th round: *1 dc in the first dc, 2 dc in the next dc*, repeat from *-* until finish round = 18 dc.
15th round: 1 dc in each dc = 18 dc.
16th round: *1 dc in each of the first 2 dc, 2 dc in the next dc*, repeat from *-* until finish round = 24 dc.
17th round: 1 dc in each dc = 24 dc
18th round: *1 dc in each of the first 3 dc, 2 dc in the next dc*, repeat from *-* until finish round = 30 dc.
15th – 24th round: 1 dc in each dc = 30 dc.
25th round: *1 dc in each of the first 3 dc, crochet 2 dc tog.*, repeat from *-* until finish round = 24 dc.
26th round: 1 dc in each dc = 24 dc.
27th round: *1 dc in the first dc, crochet 2 dc tog.*, repeat from *-* until finish round = 16 dc.
28th round: 1 dc in each dc = 16 dc.
29th round: Crochet the dc’s tog. 2 and 2 = 8 dc.
Fill with cotton wool
30th round: Crochet the dc’s tog. 2 and 2 = 4 dc.
Pull the thread up and down the 4 dc’s, pull tog. and sew.

Leg: Crochet 3 ch and make a loop with a sl st. Crochet 8 dc around the loop. Continue to crochet 2 dc in each dc = 16 dc. Crochet the next round as follows: 1 dc in the first st, *crochet the next 2 dc tog., 1 dc in the next st*, repeat from *-* until finish round = 11 dc. Crochet 4 rounds with a dc in each st. Pull the thread up and down through the 11 dc’s and pull together. Don’t cut the thread but pull it up through the leg. Later it will be used to sew the leg to the body. Crochet another leg, fill with cotton wool and sew them to the body.

Arm: Crochet 3 ch and make a loop with a sl st. Crochet 6 dc around the loop. Continue to crochet 2 dc in each dc = 12 dc. Crochet the next round as follows: 1 dc in the first st, *crochet the next 2 dc tog., 1 dc in the next st*, repeat from *-* until finish round = 8 dc. Crochet 13 rounds with a dc in each st. Pull the thread through the 8 dc’s and pull together. Don’t cut the thread but pull it up through the arm. Later it will be used to sew the arm to the body. Fill the arm with cotton wool, tighten the thread slightly so the arm gets a little bend. Crochet another arm and sew them to the body approx 1 to 2 rounds below the neck.

Ears: Crochet 1 ear each side of the head as follows: 1 dc in a st, 5 ch, 1 htr in the 3rd ch from hook, 1 tr in the next ch, skip approx 2 rounds and attach the ear to the head with a dc. Sew the thread and repeat for the other side of the head.
Eyes, nose and mouth: Sew with light brown and give the Teddy a personal touch.

Heart: Crochet 2 ch.
1st row: 1 dc in the first ch crochet, turn the piece.
2nd row: 1 ch, 3 dc in the dc from previous row, turn the piece.
3rd row: 1 ch, 2 dc in the first dc, 1 dc in the next dc, 2 dc in the next dc, turn the piece = 5 dc.
4th row: 1 ch, 1 dc in each of the first 2 dc, 2 dc in the next dc, 1 dc in each of the last 2 dc, turn the piece = 6 dc.
5th row: 1 ch, 1 dc in each of the first 3 dc, turn the piece.
6th row: 1 ch, crochet the 3 dc’s tog to 1 dc, cut the thread.
Now crochet a dc in each of the remaining st of the heart, turn the piece. Crochet 1 ch and crochet the next 3 dc tog. to 1 dc, cut and sew the threads. Sew the heart on to the teddy.
