We are now sending the new fall/winter catalogs to our DROPS dealers. They are printed in a limited edition and and each catalog costs only 1£/$2 over the counter and 2£/$4 by mail order. DROPS fall/winter 09/10 collection is very varied. From fine to heavy, garments with texture and patterned. Jackets, sweaters, ponchos, shawls and lots of accessories. The designs are chosen on the basis of an overall assessment, where voting results and accompanying comments have been important.

Crochet tension: 3 rounds in crochet square = 6 cm. 5. After 5 rounds the crochet square measures approx 18 cm in diameter
Crochet info: Substitute first dtr on round with 4 ch. Substitute first dc on round with 1 ch. Finish round with 1 sl st in beginning of round.

Size S/M crochet to 8th round, inclusive. For Size L to 9th round, inclusive and for size XL/XXL to 10th round, inclusive.
Crochet rounds: Crochet 4 ch create a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
1st round: Crochet 8 dc around ring – read Crochet info.
2nd round: Crochet 3 dtr in each dc = 24 dtr.
3rd round: Crochet 1 dtr, *3 ch, skip 1 dtr, 1 dtr in next dtr*, repeat from*-* and finish with 3 ch and 1 sl st in beginning of round = 12 dtr.
4th round: Crochet 3 dtr in first dtr, *3 ch, skip 3 ch, 3 dtr in next dtr*, repeat from*-* and finish with 3 ch and 1 sl st in beginning of round = 36 dtr.
5th round: Crochet 1 dtr in each dtr and 3 dtr in each ch loop = 72 dtr. Square now measures 18 cm in diameter.
6th round: Crochet 1 dtr in first dtr, *3 ch, skip 1 dtr, 1 dtr in next dtr*, repeat from*-* and finish with 3 ch and 1 sl st in beginning of round = 36 dtr.
7th round: *1 dtr and 3 ch in each of 8 first dtr, 1 dtr in next dtr, 3 ch, 1 dtr in same dtr, (= corner), 3 ch *, repeat from *-* 4 times in total and finish with 1 sl st in beginning of round = 40 dtr.
8th round: *1 dtr in each of 8 first dtr and each of 8 first ch loops, 2 dtr in next dtr, 3 dtr in ch loop, 2 dtr in next dtr (= corner), 1 dtr in next ch loop*, repeat from *-* 4 times in total and finish with 1 sl st in beginning of round = 96 dtr. Size S/M finish here – round measures approx 31 cm in diameter.
9th round: Crochet 1 tr in each dtr. Crochet as follows in the 7 dtr at the corners: 2 dtr in each of 3 first dtr, 3 dtr in next dtr, 2 dtr in each of 3 next dtr = 128 dtr. Size L finish here – round measures approx 35 cm in diameter.
10th round: Crochet 1 tr in each tr. Crochet as follows in the 15 dtr at the corners: 2 dtr in each of 7 first dtr, 3 dtr in next dtr, 2 dtr in each of 7 next dtr = 192 dtr. Size XL/XXL finish here – round measures approx 39 cm in diameter.
Crochet 3 square more.

Picot edge: Crochet picot edge on 2 of the squares along 2 sides – on the other 2 squares crochet picot edge along 1 side - see Measurement chart. Crochet as follows (begin mid corner): 1 dc around first dtr, *1 picot (= 3 ch,1 sl st in 3rd ch from crochet hook), skip 1 dtr, 1 dc around next dtr*, repeat from *-* 12-15-21 times in total = 12-15-21 picots. Turn piece and crochet back as follows: Crochet sl st until 2nd ch on last picot, *6 ch, 1 dc around 2nd ch on next picot*, repeat from *-*. Cut and sew thread.
Crocheting together: Place squares on top of each other and crochet tog – see Measuring chart. Crochet in ch loop from picot edge as follows:
1 dc in first ch loop on the one square, 2 ch, 1 dc in first ch loop on second square, *3 ch, 1 dc in next ch loop on the one square, 2 ch, 1 dc in next ch loop on second square* repeat from*-* until panels are crochet tog on side.

Crochet edge: Crochet an edge round entire shoulder piece with crochet hook size 5 mm in Silke-Alpaca as follows:
1st round: Crochet 1 dtr in first dtr, *2 ch, skip 3 dtr, 1 dtr in next dtr*, repeat from*-* and finish with 3 ch and 1 sl st in beginning of round.
2nd round: 2 dtr in first dtr, *4 ch, 2 dtr in same dtr, 1 ch, 2 dtr in next dtr *, repeat from *-* and finish with 4 ch, 2 dtr in same dtr, 1 ch and 1 sl st in first dtr. Fold shoulder piece double and sew 1 st on each side to keep tog.
