Knitting gauge: 17 sts x 22 rows on needles size 5 mm [US 8] in stockinette sts with 2 threads = 10 x 10 cm [4’’ x 4’’].
19 sts x 25 rows on needle size 4 mm [US 6] in stockinette sts with 2 threads = 10 x 10 cm [4’’ x 4’’]

Garter sts (knitted round on circular needles):K 1 round, P 1 round, and so on.

Garter sts: Knit back and forth on all rows.

Rib: * K4, P4 *, repeat from *-*

Decreasing tip: Beg the dec. 5 sts before the MT (marking thread). K 2 sts tog, K3, MT, K3, K2 tog.

Tunic: Remember the knitting gauge! Knit round! Cast on 214-228-240-258-278-298 sts on circular needles size 4.5 mm [US 7] with 2 threads of Alpaca. Knit 6 rounds of garter sts – see explanation above. Insert 2 MT in the work – 1 at the beg. of round and 1 after 107-114-120-129-139-149 sts. Change to circular needle size 5 mm [US 8] and continue in stockinette sts. When the piece measures 5-6-7-8-9-10 cm [2”-2 3/8”-2 Ύ”-3 1/8”-3½”-4”] dec. 1 st each side of the MT (= 4 dec. each round) on every 2 cm [3/4’’] a toalt of 19 times = 138-152-164-182-202-222 sts – read decreasingtip above! When the piece measures 47-48-49-50-51-52 cm [18½”-19”-19 Ό”-19 Ύ”-20”-20½”] garter 2 rounds – at the same time on the first round inc. 22-24-28-26-38-34 sts evenly distributed = 160-176-192-208-240-256 sts. Continue as follows – on circular needle size 4 mm [US 6]:
Size S – L – XXXL: P2, Rib over the next 152-184-248 sts – se explanation above, K4 and finish with P2.
Size M – XL – XXL: K2, P4, Rib over the next 168-200-232 sts – see explanation above and finish with K2..
When the piece measures 55-58-61-63-66-69 cm [21 5/8”-22 Ύ”-24”-24 Ύ”-26”-27 1/8”] knit as follows:
Size S – L – XXXL: P2, Rib over the next 32-40-56 sts, K4, 4 garter sts (mid front), Rib over the next 112-136-184 sts, finish with K4 and P2.
Size M – XL –XXL: K2, P4, Rib over the next 32-40-48 sts, K4, 4 garter sts(mid front), Rib over the next 128-152-176 sts, finish with K2.
At the next row split the piece in the middle of the 4 garter sts and inc. 1 st each side towards the middle. Inc. as follows: K 2 sts in 1 st. (= 3 garter sts each side of the slit in the middle) = 162-178-194-210-242-258 sts.
Continue to knit back and forth. When the piece measures 56-58-60-62-64-66 cm [22”-22 Ύ”-23 5/8”-24 3/8”-25 Ό”-26”] bind off 2-3-3-3-4-4 sts each side of the MT, and continue each part separately.

Back piece: = 76-82-90-98-112-120 sts. Bind off for armholes each side on every other row as follows: 3 sts 0-0-1-1-1-1 time, 2 sts 1-1-1-1-4-5 times and 1 st 1-0-1-1-2-4 times = 70-78-78-86-86-86 sts. When the piece 75-78-81-84-87-90 cm [29½”-30 Ύ”-32”-33”-34 Ό”-35½”] bind off the mid 24-24-24-26-26-26 sts for neck. Continue to bind off 1 st on the next row towards the neck = 22-26-26-29-29-29 sts left for each shoulder. Bind off remaining sts when the piece measures 77-80-83-86-89-92 cm [30 3/8”-31½”-32 Ύ”-33 7/8”-35”-36 Ό”].

Right front: = 39-42-46-50-57-61 sts. Bind off for armhole as done for the back piece = 36-40-40-44-44-44 sts. When the piece measures 69-72-75-77-80-83 cm [27 1/8”-28 3/8”-29½”-30 3/8”-31½”-32 Ύ”] put 5 sts on a thread or a stitch holder at the mid front. Bind off for the neck on every other row as follows: 2 sts 3 times and 1 sts 3-3-3-4-4-4 times = 22-26-26-29-29-29 sts left for shoulder. Bind off remaining sts when the piece measures 77-80-83-86-89-92 cm [30 3/8”-31½”-32 Ύ”-33 7/8”-35”-36 Ό”].

Left front: Knit as right front but reverse.

Sleeve: Knit back and forth. Cast on 54-54-62-68-68-76 sts (incl. 1 edge st each side) on needle size 4.5 mm [US 7] with 2 threads of Alpaca. Knit 6 rows of garter sts – see explanation above, Continue in stockinette sts on needle size 5 mm [US 8]. When the piece measures 12 cm [4 Ύ”] knit 2 rows of garter sts, at the same time on the first row inc. 12-12-12-14-14-14 sts evenly distributed = 66-66-74-82-82-90 sts. Continue as follows – on needle size 4 mm [US 6]: 1 edge st, Rib – see explanation above, 1 edge st. When the piece measures 33-33-32-32-30-29 cm [13”-13”-12½”-12½”-11 Ύ”-11 3/8”] bind off for the sleeve cap each side on every other row : 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 3-3-4-4-4-4 times, 1 st 1-2-3-3-5-6 times, continue to bind off 2 sts each side until the piece measures 39-40-41-41-41-41 cm [15 Ό”-15 Ύ”-16 1/8”- 16 1/8”- 16 1/8”- 16 1/8”], then bind off 3 sts each side 1 times and bind off remaining sts when the piece measures approx. 40-41-42-42-42-42 cm [15 Ύ”-16 1/8”-16½”-16½”-16½”-16½”].

Assembly: Sew the shoulder seams. Sew the sleeve seam and sew in the sleeves. Pick up approx. 68-74 sts (incl. the sts on the threads or stitch holders) on needle size 4.5 mm [US 7] around the neck line. Knit 4 rows of garter sts. Bind off.
