We are now sending the new fall/winter catalogs to our DROPS dealers. They are printed in a limited edition and and each catalog costs only 1£/$2 over the counter and 2£/$4 by mail order. DROPS fall/winter 09/10 collection is very varied. From fine to heavy, garments with texture and patterned. Jackets, sweaters, ponchos, shawls and lots of accessories. The designs are chosen on the basis of an overall assessment, where voting results and accompanying comments have been important.

Crochet info:
Round 3-8: Replace first sc on round with 1 ch. Finish each round with 1 sl st in first sc.

Crochet 2 sc tog to 1 sc: Crochet 1 sc, but wait with last ‘pull through’ (= 2 st on hook), then crochet next sc, but when making the last ‘pull through’ pull the yarn through all sts on hook – 1 sc has now been dec.

Daffodil: Start 1.6 yards in on the thread with off white and crochet hook 5 mm [H/8]. (This thread end is to be used for edge afterwards).

Crochet daffodil as follows:
1st round: Crochet loosely 10 ch, form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
2nd round: 1 sc in each ch, end with 1 sl st in first sc (= 10 sc).
3rd round: Read Crochet info! 1 sc in each sc.
4th round: * 1 sc in first sc, then crochet 2nd and 3rd sc tog – see explanation above *, repeat *-* = 7 sc.
5th round: Change to lime (this round is to be used later as folding edge. There will also be crocheted tie bands from this round).
Inc 5 new sts on this round like this: 1 sc in 1st sc, 2 sc in the next 2 sc, 1 sc in next sc, 2 sc in the next 3 sc = 12 sc.
6th -8th round: Change to yellow. Crochet 1 sc in each sc = 12 sc.
9th round: * 4 ch, 2 tr in 4th ch from hook, skip 1 sc, 1 sc in next sc, *, repeat *-* = 6 flower leafs. End with 1 sl st in first sc.
Cut the thread.
Edge: Now crochet an edge with off white thread that was mentioned in beg.
Turn piece.
Pick up a st from starting round (1 st on hook). Crochet edge like this: * 3 ch, 2 sc in 3rd ch from hook, skip 1 stitch, 1 sl st in next stitch, *, repeat *-* = 5 leaves. Cut and fasten threads.
Tie bands: Fold daffodil double at the lime coloured round (5:th round). (Yellow = furthest out).
Now crochet a band with lime out from 5:th round as follows:
1st round: Crochet 2 sc up from 5th round, 1 ch, turn.
2nd round: crochet 2 sc, 1 ch, turn.
Repeat this until band measures approx 4”.
Last round: 3 ch, 1 dc in 3rd ch from hook, finish with 1 sl st in last sc.

Crochet one more band on opposite side of the first band. This band shall measure approx 9.75”.
