Pamiętaj, że zawsze możesz przymierzyć rękaw i dopasować go do swoich potrzeb. Pozdrawiamy!

I am not smart enough to understand the Morning Glory Jacket Pattern. I did not have any problem with the cast-on, the Garter ridges, or the 44 stitches inserted . The problem begins with Pattern 2 -- see explanation above . The problem is no explanation above!!!!! I don't understand what a STRAND is or how do I read all the numbers in the pattern. For example, A2, Pattern 2 has a string of numbers -- A.4, p14-16-16-16-16-16. This does not tell me anything. The same with the numbers
25.06.2023 - 23:00DROPS Design a répondu:
Dear Mrs Price, you have to insert markers (see video) and marker threads (see this other video) to mark specific places on the piece where you will decrease, this means you will either decrease at the markers or at the marker threads as explained afterwards. Then the different numbers of P stitches depend on the size, in this example you will purl 14 sts in the first size and 16 sts in all remaining sizes. Happy knitting!

Is there a way / formula to find the correct diagonal length of a raglan sleeve from the neckline (at shoulder) to the armpit (at side seam)?
25.05.2023 - 15:23DROPS Design a répondu:
Dear Mrs O'Neill, this diagonal length will vary depending on the width of piece (sleeves as well as front/back piece), depth of armhole, etc... so it might be easier to take inspiration from a garment with the desired raglan and the correct tension. Remember you can always contact your yarn store for any individual assistance, they can help you even per mail or telephone. Happy knitting!

I'm using October Breeze. I'm using circular needles but pattern gives instructions for knitting/purling on the wrong side. I'm new to circular and top down knitting and very confused. Thank you.

Dear Amona, in the neckline you work short rows as you increase for the raglan, so you work back and forth. You can check the following video to see how to work this: https://www.garnstudio.com/video.php?id=1735&lang=en. Happy knitting!

Which of these sock patterns is best to knit socks for a person with larger legs. Fa-281 or Fa-144. I have the specifications but am not sure where to make increases. Thanks. Margaret Lockhart.
30.04.2023 - 14:46DROPS Design a répondu:
Dear Margaret, fa-281 is worked in rib, so it should be more elastic and more comfortable for a person with larger legs. Happy knitting!

What are the actual chest and hip measurements for the pattern 197-24 , how many inches more are allocated to the finished chest and hip measurements mentioned in the chart .
25.04.2023 - 20:55DROPS Design a répondu:
Dear Mrs Archambault, note that the measurements in chart are in cm - convert into inches here. The measurements are taken flat from side to side, to get the circumference, you have to multiply then by 2, then convert into inches. Bust is given under armhole, then you'll find bottom edge at the very bottom and next measurements after bottom edge. Happy knitting!

Hei Ruth.

Pft, mvh
06.02.2023 - 13:18DROPS Design a répondu:
Hei Agnes.

I would love to knit drops first leaf pattern but the sizing says for 5/6 year old I make a 30" sweater that is huge, even for loose sweater. in the picture it does not seem that big/ loose if he is a 2 year old. I will start next size down I think, maybe children there are bigger than in Canada? :)
30.01.2023 - 05:25DROPS Design a répondu:
Dear Mrs Rycroft, to get the measurements in inchez, note that you should edit the language into English (US/inch) - the jumper in 2 years is ca 26 3/4" bust circumference and 14 1/4" from shoulder down - measure a similar garment the child wears and compare them to the measurements in the chart (in cm). Happy knitting!

Ohhh I am so confused! I love Midnight Lace 68-15 but have never crocheted from a chart like this, I am totally lost as to understanding how to do it? Has anyone ever done a written pattern? I cannot find anything equally as nice on any other sites. The small videos are no help as just showing stitches which I understand. I don’t understand divide and crochet separately. Photos would be great .
21.01.2023 - 07:04DROPS Design a répondu:
Dear Viki-Lea, this is the only format of the pattern available, there are no full written instructions. If you have trouble understanding the charts, you can see the videos below or read the following lesson: https://www.garnstudio.com/lesson.php?id=69&cid=19 To divide the pattern: 2 repeats from the mid front towards the side in both the right and left front pieces and the 4 middle repeats are for the back (so there should be 2 repeats towards the side on each half of the backpiece). The repeats which are not included here are used for the armhole decreases. Happy crocheting!

I want to knit socks either FA -281 or FA-144. The foot measurements are ankle 10.5 “, circumference of foot 9.25, circumference of leg at 5” from ankle 13.5 “. Shoe size is 8.5.”. I do understand I will need to make increases but am not sure where exactly. Which pattern above would be easier to knit. Can to tell me where and how much I need to increase stitches. Thank you. ML
