Pompom: Cut a strand of Alaska approx. 5.5 meters, fold yarn double and wrap around both templates. Cut 1 strand of Alaska approx. 25 cm long, fold double and thread between templates, pull tight around strands (inner edge) and knot. This looped strand will be used to put the balls together into the scarf. Pull pompom out of template and trim evenly with a scissor - so that the pompom will be approx. 8 cm in diameter.
Scarf: Make 16 pompoms per instructions above. Crochet together with Alaska as follows: start with 1 sc on the looped strand on 1st ball, * ch 10, then 1 sc in the looped strand on the next ball, ch 10 concealed inside that ball and 1 sc on the other side of the looped strand on the same ball *, repeat from * - * until all balls are crocheted together. Cut yarn and fasten.
