NOTE: This pattern is written in British English. All measurements in charts are in cm. For conversion from cm to inches - click here. There are different terms for crocheting in British and American English. If this pattern includes crochet, click for "crochet terms" here.
Garter st, back and forth on needle: K all rows.
Decreasing tip: Dec for armhole inside 2 garter sts.
Dec as follows before 2 garter sts: K 2 tog. Dec as follows after 2 garter sts: slip 1 st as if to K, K1, psso

Front piece: Cast on 42-46-50 sts (includes 1 edge st each side) on needle size 7 mm and work 4 rows garter st – see above. Continue in stocking st with 1 garter st each side. Remember the knitting tension! When piece measures 8 cm inc 1 st each side inside the edge st on every 5 cma total of 3 times = 48-52-56 sts. When piece measures 21-22-23 cm P 1 row from RS on 4 sts each side. On next cast off 2 sts each side for armhole and now dec for armhole each side – see decreasing tip: 1 st 2-4-5 times = 40-40-42 sts. Continue in stocking st with 2 garter sts each side. When piece measures 36-38-40 cm cast off the middle 8-8-10 sts for neck and complete each side separately. Cast off to shape the neckline at the beg of every row from mid front: 2 sts 1 time, 1 st 3 times = 11-11-11 sts left on shoulder. When piece measures 41-43-45 cm cast off to shape the shoulder from armhole towards neckline on every other row: 3 sts 1 time, 4 sts 2 times. Piece measures approx 44-46-48 cm.

Back piece: Cast on and work like front piece, but cast off the middle 16-16-18 sts for neck when piece measures 42-44-46 cm. Cast off 1 st on neckline on next row. Cast off for shoulder as described for front piece.

Assembly: Sew right shoulder seam. Pick up approx 42 to 48 sts round neckline on needle size 7 mm with Puddel. Work 2 rows garter st, cast off loosely. Sew left shoulder seam, incl the 2 rows garter st. Sew side seams inside 1 edge st.
