Hello. I need clarification regarding the 29 stitch decrease. The pattern states I should have 114 stitches left at the end of the 29-stitch decrease, but I have 133. I started with 162 stitches, less 29 equals 133, not the 114 noted in the pattern. Am I missing something? Your help is very much appreciated. Also, how many stitches between the reindeer motif? Look forward to hearing from you. Deborah Hiland.

Dear Mrs Hiland, after you had 162 sts, you are suppose to decrease 42 stitches evenly (a correctionwill be made), then 120 sts remain, work 4 cm stocking stitch and then work M.1 decreasing 10 sts on first row after M.1 = 110 sts. Now work M.2 and continue pattern as explained. Happy knitting!

Grazie

Hello everyone at DROPS. Great yarns and great patterns!!!! I was wondering what needle size I should use when working the rib around the neck? Is it the circular needle No. 4 or No. 5? Thanks a lot! Wish you a merry xmas and a happy new year!!!!!

Dear Mrs Slg, you have to change to smaller needle to work the rib, correction has been made, thanks for noticing. Happy knitting!
