Dear Gillian, from WS knit the stitches in garter stitch, and work purl over purl and knit over knit. Happy knitting!

Change to needle size 4 mm and knit next row as follows: 1 edge st, * K3, P3 * repeat from *-* and finish with 1 edge st. Continue until rib measures 17 cm. Change to needle size 4.5 mm and knit stocking sts throughout. At the same time when piece measures 18-18-18-18-20 cm inc 1 st on each side on every 4 -4.5 -3.5 -3 -2 cm 8-7-9-10-12 times in total = 54-58-62-70-74 sts. Now cast off 2 sts on each side until piece measures 54-54-54-55-56 cm, then cast off 3 sts 1 time on each side. Cast off when piece measures approx 56-56-56-57-58 cm. Assembly: Sew shoulder seams, sleeve seams and then sew in the sleeves. Pick up approx 56-66 sts on needle size 4 mm around neckline and knit 4 rows garter st, cast off.
