Knitting tension: 9 sts x 14 rows in stocking st = 10 x 10 cm
Garter st back and forth: Knit all rows
Lace pattern:
1st row (RS): 1 edge st, * K2 tog, yo *, repeat from *-*, 1 edge st
2nd and 4th rows: P from WS
3rd row: 1 edge st, * yo, slip a st as if to knit, K1, psso *, repeat from *-*, 1 edge st. Repeat 1st to 4th row.
Increasing tip(applies to collar): Inc for collar within 4 garter sts. Inc by knitting 2 sts in first stocking sts.

Back piece: Cast on 40-44-48-52-58 sts (incl 1 edge st each side) on needle size 9 mm. Knit 2 rows garter st, continue in stocking sts. When piece measures 15-16-16-17-17 cm knit 12 cm Lace pattern – see explanation above. Continue in stocking sts. When piece measures 43-44-45-46-47 cm cast off for armhole each side on every other row: 3 sts 1 times, 2 sts 0-0-1-1-2 times and 1 sts 1-2-1-2-2 times = 32-34-36-38-40 sts. When piece measures 59-61-63-65-67 cm cast off mid 10 sts for neck = 11-12-13-14-15 sts left on each shoulder. Cast off when piece measures 62-64-66-68-70 cm.

Left front piece: Cast on 23-25-27-29-32 sts (incl 1 edge st at side and 4 edge sts mid front band) on needle size 9 mm. Knit 2 rows garter st, continue in stocking st but knit the 4 front band sts in garter sts throughout. When piece measures 15-16-16-17-17 cm knit 12 cm Lace pattern as described for back piece (front band as before). Then continue in stocking sts. When piece measures 34-36-38-40-42 cm inc for collar towards mid front – see Increasing tip: Inc 1 st on every 4 cm 5 times in total. At the same time when piece measures 43-44-45-46-47 cm cast off for armhole as on back piece. After all inc and dec has been completed 24-25-26-27-28 sts remain on needle. When piece measures 55-57-59-61-63 cm put 9 sts towards mid front on a thread or a stitch holder for neck and dec to shape the neckline on every other row: 2 sts x 1 times and 1 st x 2 times = 11-12-13-14-15 sts left on shoulder. Cast off when piece measures 62-64-66-68-70 cm.

Right front piece: Cast on and knit like left front but reversed. Additionally cast off for 3 buttonholes on front band. 1 buttonhole = K 2nd and 3rd front band st tog, yo.

Size S: 12, 22 and 32 cm
Size M: 14, 24 and 34 cm
Size L: 16, 26 and 36 cm

Sleeve: Cast on 22-24-26-28-30 sts (incl 1 edge st each side) on needle size 9 mm. Knit 2 rows garter st, continue in stocking sts. Please read all of the following section before continuing! When piece measures 12 cm inc 1 st each side on every 8-8-8-6-6 cm a total of 5-5-5-6-6 times = 32-34-36-40-42 sts. At the same time when piece measures 15-16-16-17-17 cm knit Lace pattern – ensure holes are not displaced during inc. Knit 12 cm lace pattern, then continue in stocking sts. When piece measures 48-47-47-46-44 cm cast off for sleeve cap each side on every other row: 3 sts 1 time , 2 sts 0-0-1-1-1 time, 1 st 4-4-2-3-4 times, 2 sts 0-0-1-1-1 times and 3 sts x 1 time. Cast off remaining sts, piece measures approx 56 cm.
