Liebe Laila, am besten stricken Sie dann eine andere Wolle der Garngruppe A anstatt Kid-Silk, so brauchen Sie nichts umzurechnen; sonnst wird die Maschenprobe mit nur 1 Faden Sky verschieden sein, dann sollen Sie die ganze Anleitung je nach der neuen Maschenprobe umrechnen - beachten Sie, daß dann der Pullover anders aussehen würde. Hi Dina, We suggest changing to a smaller needle size to allow the rib to be a tighter weave than the rest of the body. However, this is just a suggestion and if you prefer a looser shape, then you can work the rib with the same needle size. Happy knitting!

Ja, klopt de mouwen zijn in tricotsteek. Omdat je steeds in de rondte breit, brei je dus steeds recht om tricotsteek te krijgen. Je breit dus steeds aan de goede kant.

Dear Nicola, yes, you work with both threads together. However, the yardage of each yarn is different: Kid-Silk has 210m in one ball of 25 gr, while Sky has 190m in one ball of 50 gr. So, you will have approx. the same amount of meters in 25 gr of Kid-Silk and 50gr of Sky. That's why there is approx. double the number of grams of Sky than Kid-Silk; there is no mistake in the yarn amounts. Happy knitting!

Dear Hilary, after the increase row, you have marked the raglan stitches. The second row is straight and you work the yarn overs twisted to avoid holes. The third row has increases again on each side of the stitch with the marker stitch. The 4th row is worked straight. You repeat this process a certain number of times depending on the size you are working. Happy knitting!

Thank you for your prompt response. So the use of a smaller needle applies only to ribbing? It appeared to start higher up while still working lower body of sweater. Just wanted to clarify. Thanks!
