Hello Judith, (also being 3 years late, but I also want to make this larger). to make the rug larger, you follow the pattern logic that you can see in rows 3-5, 6-8 and 9-11: 1 row of hdc blo increasing 28 sts, 1 row of stars without incease, 1 row of hdc blo without increase.
