I’m really confused by the chart/diagrams since I’ve never used one with a bracket layout like this. For A1, how are the stitches worked into the foundation chain? Essentially, how are there multiple vertical rows in what would be one row of work? After I have my 70 chains, the diagram indicates to chain one, then double crochet- into where? And then where does the chain after that work into? And then for A3, I double crochet into the foundation chain, and then where does the fpdc go?
