Dear Judy, you only work the rows with the arrows once, after working the charts once you will only repeat the X section at the top of the pattern. In the row with arrow-1 you increase 42 tr, so you get 136 sts. In the row with arrow-2 you increase 42 more and get 178 sts, and so on. You work all 3 charts in the row: A.1 at the beginning, A.3 at the end and A.2 over all other stitches. As you increase 42 tr, these sts are worked into chart A.2, so you will need to work A.2 more times on the row (you have more "repeats" of A.2 on the row). A.2 is 6 sts so, after increasing 42 tr, you work A.2 7 more times in the row, keeping A.1 and A.3 at the beginning/end of the row. Happy crochetting!

Dear Judy, could you please specify which size you are working? You need to check the number of stitches after each arrow; 220dc are only obtained after Arrow-3 in sizes M and L. The increases in the arrows should all be the same. Please indicate exactly how many stitches you have in your specified row and what row of the chart are you in. Take into account that some stitches are worked for the puff stitches, which count as 1 stitch. Happy crochetting!

Bonjour Martine, pour augmenter à la flèche 3, crochetez 3 brides au lieu de 2 brides autour d'une maille en l'air, et répétez cette augmentation 42 fois au total. N'augmentez pas dans les mailles de bordure des devants, juste dans le point fantaisie. Bon crochet!

Dear Lilian, Arrow-3 is the arrow with number 3 in the right side of the A.1 diagram. The part in brackets means that after the increases, in the next row you will be able to work A.2 the number of times indicated, depending on the size. Happy crochetting!
