How to assembly the socks in DROPS 167-34

Keywords: garter stitch, socks, spiral,

In this DROPS video we show you how to assembly the Jupiter socks in DROPS 167-34. In the video we show size 35/37, and we have knitted half the amount of ridges than stated in the pattern. When the pattern says knit 6 ridges, we knitted 3 and when the pattern says knit 12 ridges we knitted 6. The result in the video is looking a bit different than the original, but it is the same sock just with fewer ridges.

These slippers are made in DROPS Fabel, but in the video we work with a thicker yarn, DROPS Snow.

You must read the pattern to be able to follow this video properly. You’ll find the pattern by clicking on the picture below.

My question is about the left sock, is it add 6 sts at beginning of the row on the right side or beginning of the row on the wrong side?

DROPS Design answered:

Dear Mrs Tapley, everything that was worked from WS will be now worked from RS and reversed, on right socks you cast on 6 new stitches at the end of row from WS, on left sock you will now cast on 6 new sts at the end of row from RS. Happy knitting!
