How to work a knot and at the same time increase stitches

In this DROPS video we show how to work a knot over 3 stitches and at the same time increases 3 stitches.
Work like this: * Purl 3 together, do not slip the stitches off the needle but knit together the same 3 stitches, do not slip the stitches off the needle *, work from *-* 2 more times, slip the 3 stitches off the left needle (= 3 stitches increased).
